Action has been taken by Devon County Council to make Devon's roads safer for horse riders to enjoy 😊

Since 2018, BHS statistics show that 375 incidents on Devon's roads have been reported, with 19 horses and 29 riders injured and 3 horses and 1 rider sadly killed.

Now, the council has teamed up with the BHS, Horses & Road Safety Awareness and Vision Zero South West to support and promote our Dead Slow campaign in the region. New signage is now located across popular routes for riders, reminding drivers of their responsibility to pass horses safely. 🐴🚗

We're grateful to Devon County Council for collaborating with us and supporting our Dead Slow campaign to make the region safer for equestrians!
