I kinda live for mega volume. Especially when I’m using Light Heart Lash The Everything Lashes. They’re so dark and light weight and fan soooo beautifully.

Mega volume might not suit everybody - but it truly does have a place in the lash world. And I hope it sticks around for a very long time!

When I come back from Maternity leave… what things have I taken from maternity leave and observing the lash world from outside of it, whilst I’ve been away… and what will I bring/keep in my business and what am I letting go of?

- Firstly, Lash Lifts are here to stay! So I’ll be doing more courses to better my skills and I’ll be using the best products from Light Heart Lash (don’t worry for my KIT lift girls I’m still@using the same products from before mat leave u til it’s all used up then I’ll contact you for a patch)

- Secondly, I’ll be more present at home… and less active on”social” media. I enjoyed keeping up with my Light Heart Ambassador posts (4 a month) but it’s been beautiful not feeling the need to post daily… or even weekly. I’ll be active, just not as much. My kids are only this age once and my husband is the one here when work stops. I want them to know how loved they are.

- Next up, shorter lengths will be more of a speciality of mine. And I’ll be offering and using them more. From 5mm to 12mm and nothing really longer. And I’m more than okay with that!

- Client/Lash Artist relationships. Not all are genuine but I know so many that are. I love my clients. I love the friendships I’ve formed. I’ve had the most beautiful friends who just happen to of been clients first, text me, message me and turn up for me in the darkest season of postpartum depression. Those who have shared their good new with me. Those who have liked my posts and stories. And honestly those who have done none of the above… but when they’re here in my salon, they go above and beyond to show me love, support and friendship. I’m blessed with my client base. They’re all incredible. And I’m here to make those friendships thrive 🤍

- Light Heart products & education is staying. I’m still in love with the products, the brand and the team! And I hope to stay on their ambassador program for as long as They have one.

- Community over competition. It’s boring. I thrive when I get to big up other women, their businesses, skills and their beauty!!!

- And finally, workshops & training. It’s been something I’ve been saying and perfecting for a long time… but it’s finally coming! ✨

Here’s WHAT I bought & WHY from Light Heart Lash as I get ready to return for my Keep in Touch days on August 1st 🤍

Lash Lifts are becoming huge. So I wanted to get my hands on THE Ultimate Lash Lift Manual. I have trained in Lash Lifts but I know when Light Heart drops something, they drop their very best. So I got my hands on this. I am going to be moving over to their Lash Lift and Brow Lamination products very soon (I got stock to use up) and I want to understand their products and the way they work, so I’m giving myself a head start with their education ✨

Next up, the Maddi Tweezers. I still have a fantastic pair at the salon, however… I wanted a brand spanking new pair for when I start back - I got a feeling after 4 months off I might drop my tweezers 🥲🫣 besides these are my favourite tweezers. I use them for everything (except isolating - for that I use the Katy!)

I only needed to buy 2 boxes of lashes in C curl as when I was buying stock in the Brown Friday sale, I went overboard (rightly so!) C curl is a curl that near enough works for everyone. So it’s the main curl I stock, but I have a handful of CC and the full J collection in Fawn and Black 🥲

And finally - I’m fully out of Bonder and nearly out of Primer and I kid you not they work perfectly. I love both of these products from Light Heart and they’re such a necessity for great retention!

My husband is getting my beautiful lash bed out, and my stock cart so I can check everything and order what I need.

I’ll potentially be buying new Tweezers. I want to try the Lexi & but my trustyyy Maddi tweezers!

And I think I need primer and bonder too!

I am a 34 year old Lash Artist living in the South West of England, in beautiful Plymouth. I moved here nearly 7 years ago when I met my now husband online on a dating app 🥹 (They do work you know 😉)

We have two daughters, Rebekah Joy & Juniper Love 👶🏽👧🏼
Juniper is our 7 week old brunette babe and Rebekah is our 3.5 year old blonde babe.

Calligraphy is my side hobby/hustle.

We love Jesus lots in our house, He’s turned our families lives around and rocked our worlds in so many beautiful ways. We owe so much to Him.

From January I’ll be working Wednesdays and Thursdays 8.45am-5.30pm & Wednesday & Thursday Evenings 6.30-9pm.

And I will have space for around 20 more clients (I currently have 11 clients booked in for Keep In Touch Days on Maternity leave - so roughly 20 clients will take me to fully booked (with wiggle room for redating apps)

If you’d like to be on my books I can take you on from December (in time for Christmas) and continue into the new year 🤍

And I retail their Lash Growth Serum and Peptide Eye masks (and the Serum is safe to use whilst pregnant, breastfeeding and whilst wearing lash extensions! Yaaay!) 👏🏼

I was the first Light Heart Lash Brand Ambassador in the UK (which I actually really pride myself in) and in the first round of Brand Ambassadors when they selected us in March 2024… I’ve never left the programme and have no plans to, as this brand has changed my career, their products, kindness and education have impacted my life and business so much!

Id like to do some more structured sets when I come back to work in August 🤍

Believe it or not these were meant to be structured wispies, however mastering this for me has been a bit of a work in progress 🫣

I love using products because the fibers are so light, but really dark (right to the tip) and the bases are loose. So when I’m attempting to make sets with wispy or structured spikes, they stand out.
