I joined Temple Spa (Spatogo) in 2012, to get out of the house once a week and to share with my friends and family how easy it actually is to take better care of ourselves. As we only retail in Harrods, Spatogo is very accessable and offers everyone the chance to try some Award winning skin care in the comfort of their own home or workspace. As this is a very personal business, I will also share Temple Spa related things that happen to me and within my business, as well as offer opportunities for you to join us too. 15 years ago, I said yes to something I never imagined would become a career.
At the time, it was just a way to earn a bit of extra money, get out of the house, and work around my family.
I didn’t have a plan.
I didn’t have experience in skincare.
And I definitely didn’t think it would grow into what it has.
What it did give me was options — flexibility, support, confidence, and the chance to build something at my own pace, alongside being a mum.

It will help offer more “singing for the brain” sessions
It might even pay for a support worker for a year.

It’s Alzheimer’s awareness day today and as we are raising money for them through our Repose sales, I wanted to share this with you all.
Mascara warning ‼️ though especially if you yourself are caring for someone with this illness.

This time it’s Smooth it out Charcoal shower scrub with mit.
Not gonna lie, I was skeptical about it as I’ve not been a fan of a charcoal scrub before. I’ve found them a bit tar like or they don’t smell so good, but in true Templespa style, this is blooming gorgeous 🖤
A little goes a long way, and when using the mit, you can give those tougher areas a real bit of ooompf 🤣
Skin felt immediately softer afterwards, without adding any body moisturiser, and like I said in the video, the smell is lovely. Bergamot , lemon, basil, give it a subtle uplifting fragrance, jojoba oil, bergamot oil, help leave the skin feeling more hydrated.
One I’ll be using regularly this season for sure.
And at £25 I think it’s a great price point. Oh and unisex for sure. Guys will like this as much as the girls.

I attended a women’s health event last night, and one of the speakers, a leading surgeon at Derriford, talked all things menopause, with some great advice and insights into its all.
One of the things she highlighted that I chat about when I’m delivering our menopause focused “your best you” experience, is you don’t have to accept what your doctors tell you, especially if they don’t seem to get where you are coming from.
Menopausal symptoms vary for all us women, and speaking to a gp that has had the right training makes a huge difference.
So if you think you might be starting the peri phase, or in full menopause or just need to talk to someone who has had the correct training, look for a gp that has these letters after their name.
