We’ll discuss any changes you’ve noticed, such as growth, bleeding, or discomfort, and carefully examine the area. Sometimes reassurance is all that’s needed — other times, further treatment may be recommended.

What happens during a skin check?

A skin check is a chance to properly assess any moles, lumps, bumps, or skin lesions that may concern you.

During the appointment, the lesion is carefully examined, and we discuss any changes you may have noticed, such as growth, colour change, bleeding, or discomfort.

Sometimes reassurance is all that is needed. In other cases, further monitoring or removal may be recommended.
