Hey ladies with the heat returning this week I’m going too try my best again to do as many as possible but I may have too move you if it gets too much as it’s just not worth having a bad set of nails 💅
I’m closing the diary this week and just doing the ladies that’s already booked in 🩷🩷

Just thought I would right a post to say in all the years I have done nails the past couple of weeks I have never had so many messages about broken nails 💅 it was hard work working in the heat we had and it messed with my products so much which has had a factor on nails lifting peeling and breaking
I will of course fix all these problems but Biab acrylic and gel polish do not like heat

If you’ve ever wondered why nail techs panic when the UK gets a heatwave… this is why 😂☀️

Most salons don’t have air conditioning.

Most gels are designed to work in much temperatures than 30°C+ meaning when it’s sweltering, they’re impossible to work with 💧

Add in lamps, dust extractors and a few people in a small room and some salons become actual ovens.

When gel gets too warm it becomes runnier, harder to control, more likely to flood the skin and generally doesn’t behave how it’s supposed to.

The UK simply isn’t designed for heatwaves.

So if you’re a nail tech and you need to move clients, reduce your hours, work earlier, work later, or just rearrange appointments until it’s cooler, do it.

No set of nails is worth heatstroke or spending 3 hours fighting with gel that has the consistency of water 😭💅🏼🔥

As many of you are aware now my day has been in hospital this week she’s still unwell and waiting surgery so thank you too everyone who has been moved cancelled etc this week.
Next week will try to keep to normal but I may have too move you last minute depending on when she has surgery but I will of course let you know thank you again for your understanding lots of love claire 🩷
