As hairdressers, we are not trained counsellors — but often we become so much more than just someone who does your hair.

Over the years, there is very little we haven’t come across. From heartbreak and loss, to anxiety, stress and overwhelming life moments — our chairs have heard it all.

Sometimes a salon appointment is about more than hair. It’s a safe space to chat, offload, laugh, cry or simply have someone listen without judgement.

Mental health matters, and while we may not have all the answers, we are always here to listen, support and when needed, help point people towards services and support that may help further.

Never underestimate the power of a conversation.
It really is good to talk 💚
