Open Skies is a synthesis of art, nature, and facilitated rest.

For four days in the Devon countryside, nestled among trees and fields, we’ve crafted a container for you to reconnect with your creativity. Through plein air painting, the practice of creating while immersed in nature, alongside sound baths, meditation, and nourishing food, this retreat is designed to feel like a space where you can come back to yourself.

While creating Open Skies, we found ourselves returning to the question of what it really means to have a creative practice, both in our own lives, and in the spaces we hold for others.

We kept coming back to the feeling that creativity cannot be forced. It needs the right conditions. It asks for spaciousness, rest, safety, and presence. So much of this retreat has been shaped around the idea, not how to make people produce, but how to help create the conditions in which creativity can naturally emerge.

This retreat isn’t about giving you a step by step guide to painting a landscape but instead we want to help you connect to your own unique perspective and supporting you in creating from that place. It is guided rather than instructional, with space for exploration, reflection, and your own way of responding to what you see and feel.

For us, nature is not simply the backdrop to the retreat but an integral part of the practice itself. To spend time outside, to observe slowly, to notice light, colour, movement, texture, and sound, is part of what helps open something in us. The landscape becomes both companion and inspiration.

We also don’t see rest as separate from creativity. Rest, stillness, and feeling held are not extras but a necessary part of what makes creativity possible. We believe that when people feel more grounded, more spacious, and more connected to themselves, something softer and more honest can begin to come through.

At its heart, Open Skies is an invitation to slow down, to pay attention, and to reconnect with yourself, with nature, and with your own creative rhythm.

rest, creativity & productivity

If I find myself frustrated that I cannot create, whether that’s content for Instagram, meditations, writing, or anything related to my work, I know that’s my cue to go outside and lie down.

My creativity can’t be forced.

I think i can create a container for it and hope it flows, but my ideas only arrive when my brain is rested and spacious. When I’m not preoccupied by screens. When my mind has room to wander. That’s when ideas emerge.

Ideas come to me like little electrical sparks, as if they aparate into my consciousness as if dropped by the cosmos and come to life in my head.

So for me, rest is productive because it creates space and pause that is nesacary for creativity to flow.

It’s the philosophy that weaves through the core of all my work but especially our Open Skies retreat. The idea of marrying rest & creativity, connection to nature and self.

Rested enough to notice the world around us.
Connected enough to hear ourselves think.
Inspired not by frantic productivity, but by presence.

I think creativity comes far more naturally when we stop trying to force it and it becomes less of the goal and more of a happy byproduct of being well.

We so excited to share Open Sky, a four day retreat created for anyone longing to slow down, reconnect with themselves, and rediscover creativity in a softer, more natural way.

This retreat is crafted with the intention of giving yourself space to breathe, rest, notice, and create without pressure.

Across four days in the Devon countryside, we’ll gather for guided creative sessions in nature, meditation, sound baths, shared meals, quiet mornings, open skies, and slower rhythms designed to support rest, reflection, and creative flow.

Open Sky was created for:
– people who feel disconnected from their creativity
– those craving rest and spaciousness
– anyone longing to spend more time in nature
– burnt out creatives
– beginners who don’t know where to start
– people seeking gentler ways of being and creating

this reteat is open to anyone who wants to develop a creative practice and create with nature, no experience necessary

We can’t wait to share this space with you.

sunday sound bath | May 17th at 5pm

an hour of deep rest, time away from the outside world and time to return inwards.

floating on crystal tones or returning to the earth with the drum, the soundscape takes you on a journey of reverberation and rest.

What to bring:
•anything you need to be comfortable lying down for an hour
• I suggest a pillow & blanket
• mats provided
• eye masks are really nice too

I’ve got so much respect for people who do childcare over the summer, or who have kids in general, it’s an exceptional devotion of energy, creating and facilitating a joyous life for little ones.

In light of this, I see a lot of parents who desperately need of, and who deeply value, a bit of time for themselves. Sixty minutes lying down, free from responsibility, with full permission to put everything you’re carrying down. Rest.

These are the rest of my available dates for the summer. See if you can carve out a little time for yourself and come see me for some deep rest. Let me fill your cup so you can continue to pour into your little ones.

I’ve left my office job and I’m on summer holidays!!!

I’m now a fully self-employed massage therapist. Praise be to the universe for working with me on this huge goal I set for myself when I came back from travelling last year. I’ve managed to achieve it in under a year, and I am really frikin’ proud of myself.

Before my new work schedule kicks in this September, I’ve decided the next three weeks are going to be pure summer holiday vibes. I’ve got my car, I’ve got days off, and I’m going to have fun!

It’s Leo season, and the grind has really ground me down since coming back. I got home at 11 p.m. the night I landed, had a job interview at 9 the next morning, another at 12, and I haven’t stopped working since.

So after ten months of hard graft, I’m taking some time off. I’m going to play.

In my sound healing course, I’ve been chatting to my teachers about the power of music and play. Play is fun, joyous expression. I tend to take things more seriously and methodically, and with Cherubs full support, her official homework for me this Leo season is to have fun. So yeah that’s exactly what I’ll be up to for the next few weeks.

If anyone wants to go on an adventure with me, hit me up and a-frolicking we shall go.
