It’s with sad news to announce the permanent closing of Queen B Salon at the end of this week.

As many of you know things changed a few months ago and my heart has been torn on what to do with the salon.

Over the years Queen B Salon has built up an incredible reputation and had an amazing team of staff and loyal clientele and we have had the most amazing time and memories and I will always be thankful to each and everyone of you, whether you visited us just once, to being with us from the start or joined amongst the salon journey, to all the staff over the years past and present, we really have had the best team members and it’s all around been a phenomenal 9 years.

However sometimes when changes happen you take a step back and reevaluate what makes you happy, what gives you that drive and determination and for the last few years most have you have known I’ve not wanted to be at the salon, I’ve wanted my own career path as this was never my dream, I was just part of the success and I’ve wished to step away and I’m listening to my head for once and making the only sensible choice for my own mental wellbeing to leave something that no longer makes me happy and with that the salon sadly has to go.

The good news is that you’ll find all the staff at Rochelle’s new salon that isn’t too far away from here, and all appointments will go ahead so just check in with your stylist/nail tech/beautician for your appointments if you wish to follow.

Whilst it’s a sad announcement and an end of a fantastic era it’s also a day of change and change for the better and create better opportunities.

I have a new business venture that will be coming soon and this page will be updated and changed so you can all follow and see what I get upto!

There will be dog grooming, doggy day care, overnight boarding, dog walking etc to name a few at a fully equipped unit and it’ll give me more time with the most important little things in my life… my dogs.. whom you have all grown to love over the years so a lot of you that I hope will wish to use myself and my new team for your dog services will still get to see my pups when you bring yours in for any services.

I really do want to thank you all for the past 9 years and leave on a high maintaining a very successful business for 9 years is extremely hard but I look forward to my next challenge and chapter and I can’t wait to see some familiar faces soon when it’s all up and running.

Thank you, I really appreciate the last 9 years and whilst it’s sad to let go off an old business it’s exciting to do something you are going to enjoy and is for yourself.

As most of you know by now sadly myself and Beth parted ways awhile ago.

We both sacrificed a lot the last 9 years putting our hearts and soul into the salon to make it the success it is today and sometimes those sacrifices become too much of a burden.

I would like to thank Beth for being not only a huge part of the success of the salon but also being a huge part of my life and even through the negatives I do truly wish you well and know your new solo venture will be a success in itself.

I personally would like to thank you for the last 5 years of hard work and dedication to Queen B Salon, you are like a sister to us all and you will be missed so much but at the same time I’m so proud, happy and excited for you in your next chapter.

From looking after the Plymstock Salon, always waiting hours if not days for me to return when I’d say I’ll be half an hour 🤪 to finding run over bin bags 😆 and all the other fun things we’ve done along the way!

I’m sure I’ll see your clients as they swing by here first to collect their teas & coffees haha

Good luck Rochy… I know you won’t be a stranger and I genuinely wish you all the good luck in the world and speak on behalf of everyone here how we all think you are amazing and deserve the world, can’t wait to come visit!
