I’m honestly sick of seeing posts about being “ORIGINAL”. 🙄

The truth is, most things we do, create or come up with have been influenced by someone or something along the way. An idea doesn’t just magically appear because your brain is somehow better than the next person’s. 😂

You got the idea from somewhere, right?

And if someone comes along and does something similar to you, and suddenly you’re shouting “COPYCAT!”… maybe ask yourself why it bothers you so much.

Is it because you genuinely don’t like it?
Or is it because you see them as a threat?
Or perhaps because you’ve forgotten that you were probably inspired by someone else too?

Why can’t we just be happy for one another?

Why can’t we share ideas, inspire each other, support each other and actually celebrate the fact that there’s room for more than one person to succeed?

There’s nothing wrong with being inspired. There’s nothing wrong with taking an idea and putting your own spin on it.

At the end of the day, nobody owns an idea, a trend, a colour, a treatment, a style or a concept forever.

So instead of constantly worrying about who did it first, who copied who, or who’s being “original”…

Just do you. ❤️

✨ RETINOL — THE SKINCARE INGREDIENT EVERYONE IS TALKING ABOUT ✨

Retinol is a form of vitamin A and one of the most researched ingredients in skincare.

When introduced correctly, it can help support:

🤍 Smoother skin texture
🤍 A more even-looking skin tone
🤍 Reduced appearance of fine lines
🤍 Improved appearance of blemishes
🤍 Brighter, more radiant-looking skin
🤍 Healthy skin cell turnover

But remember — retinol isn’t about using the strongest product possible. Your skin needs time to adjust.

✨ Start slowly
✨ Use a small amount
✨ Introduce it gradually
✨ Moisturise and support your skin barrier
✨ Always use SPF 30–50 during the day

⚠️ Retinoids can cause dryness, redness and irritation, particularly when first introduced. Avoid combining lots of potentially irritating actives until your skin has adapted.

And if you're having professional treatments such as chemical peels, dermaplaning or microneedling, your retinol may need to be paused around your treatment — always follow your professional's advice.

Good skin isn't about doing more. It's about doing the right things consistently. ✨
