‼️CUSTOMER ANNOUNCEMENT‼️

It’s my 40th year in the hairdressing industry and my 28th year in business.

As you are well aware I have the most gorgeous grandchild who will be turning 1 in a few weeks time and I want to embrace and make special memories with him. I don’t want to look back and wish that I had been there for those special milestones in his little life and have regrets. They grow up so quickly, their baby life is gone in a flash. Before you know it they are off to school,university and then building their own life.
Life seems to go by quicker than ever lately and I don’t want to miss a thing.

Having Emrys in my life has put things into perspective and made me think of what I want out of this life. I’m always thinking of others and trying to make everyone else happy and never truly being happy myself. Working myself into the ground and that has to stop.
None of us are getting any younger unfortunately. The last week or so things have happened and it’s made me realise that life isn’t all about work.

So it’s with deep regret that Eve has decided that hairdressing isn’t for her and wants to move onto pastures new. I was absolutely gutted when she told me but I totally understand. She’s been an asset to the salon over the last 2 years and we have grown very close to one another. I will miss her very much but will remain good friends and keep in touch no matter what.
I’d like to thank Eve for everything she has done and wish her all the luck in the world in her new venture. Wherever it takes her, as I’m sure you all will.

So on that note I have decided that I’d like to work on my own in the salon from now on, along side Charlotte and work at a much slower pace than I have been doing for years.
Being on my own I will not be able to book so many clients in at any one time like I have been. Everyone will be spaced out accordingly so I can give you my expertise and time that you all deserve.
Also I have decided that I no longer want to work Saturdays. I have worked these for 40 years and I want to be with my grandson as I’ve said above. I deserve to be happy and he’s my ultimate tonic.

Just to clarify. I AM NOT RETIRING!! I am just stepping back a little. I have no intention of retiring for a good few years yet. All I want is to enjoy my grandchild and have some quality time to myself for a change.
My days of work will be Weds to Friday and for those that can’t make the day time I will be offering a late night on a Weds.

I hope you all understand why I’ve decided to do this and agree that life is too short to be unhappy.
We all deserve to be happy.
