💥Laser tattoo removal 💥

This treatment is becoming ever more popular! With lots of clients coming in with tattoos they are wanting to remove for various reasons.

❓️How does laser tattoo removal work❓️

The ink of the tattoo absorbs the energy of the laser, shattering the particles and creating an immune response. The body then processes and flushes out the ink lightening the tattoo.

❓️How often should I have a session❓️

A minimum of 8 weeks should be left between sessions to allow your body to sufficiently heal and process the ink.

❓️Is it painful❓️

Pain thresholds are very inidivual. Some clients find it very tolerable, others need regular breaks during a session. Ice is used to pre and post cool the skin to help with pain aswell as minimise the risk of damaging the skin.

❓️How many sessions are required❓️

This varies depending on age of the tattoo, how dark and deep the ink is placed, where the tattoo is placed on the body and the quality of ink originally used.

🌟 Underarm laser hair removal 🌟

Sadly I won't get to finish these underarms as my beautiful client is moving abroad but WOW!! what a difference!! In 6 sessions we went from thick, dark hair that always created a shadow (no matter how close/clean the shave) to underarms that she felt much less self concious of 💕

💥 Hirsutism 💥

-What is Hirsutism?

Excessive hair growth for women - often on the neck, chest, abdomen, lower back, buttocks or thighs.

-What is the cause?

Caused by hormones called Androgens. Hirsutism is often linked to PCOS but can be caused by medications or steroid use.

-How can laser hair removal help?

Laser hair removal can help by permanently destroying the hair follicles and so reducing the regrowth of hair.

-How many sessions would I need?

Yep, cysts. Not a very pleasant subject, but one that is so relevant to many people!!

What is a cyst❓️

They are a fluid filled round lump found near the surface of the skin. They can vary in size from pea sized, to several cm in diameter.

What causes a cyst❓️

There are many different causes of cysts such as acne, injury & infection.

How is this relevant to laser treatments❓️

Cysts can be caused by ingrown hairs. Common areas are often the p***c area for women and the buttocks for men. This is because the hair is often rubbing against tight, non breathable clothing.

What's the solution❓️

Laser hair removal! Destroying the follicle that the hair grows from reduces your chances of cysts forming due reducing the risk of ingrown hairs.

❌️Pigmentation❌️

This area of pigmentation had bothered this client for years!!! She'd been elsewhere, 2 years previously, for laser treatments but saw no improvement 🚫

These results were achieved after 2 sessions using Nd:yag technology 👏

Other areas of her face were treated with IPL for generalised pigmentation, together we came up with a plan & she's delighted with her results so far 💫

As many of you know, I have 2 small children, one of whom has just started school 🥺

I've made the decision to alter my working hours to suit my daughter and family whilst they are both so small 💕 They are now as follows;

Tuesday 09.30-14.30
Wednesday 09.30-14.30
Thursday 09.30-14.30
(2 of these days each week will be until 19.30 but they will vary week on week).
