What’s included for your 3 - 8 year old?

You can choose 1 or all 4 of the following…

✨A dusting of shimmer.
✨A swipe of lip balm or sparkly gloss.
✨A tiny bit of blush.
✨A spritz of setting spray.

So that they feel part of the excitement too!

This one thing might surprise you at your Wedding Makeup Preview…

If you’re not a regular makeup wearer it can be tricky trying to describe the sort of makeup look you’d like to achieve on your wedding day.

Words like “natural” or “barely there” or “I want to still look like me” are words we hear all of the time when our wedding + prom clients first get in touch.

With so many AI images online these days coupled with images snapped of models on styled shoots it can be a challenge for us makeup artists to navigate what sort of ‘natural look’ is real and achievable.😓

If you’ve done your homework you’ve already sent us some images before we meet in person and if you’ve booked a preview appointment too ~ we’ll ask you to bring along YOUR MAKEUP BAG!

Why?
It’s not because we don’t already have a candy shop equivalent of our own cosmetics to use, its because…

1. We’re makeup fanatics so never get bored having a nose!

2. It gives us an insight into what your go-to routine is. If we spot a liquid highlighter, an illuminating foundation and ICONIC’s prep set glow - we know you’re not a matte kinda gal!

3. There’s also look out for subtle clues which might indicate that some of your stuff is sadly past it’s “best before.”

If you’ve been suffering from unexplained breakouts we’ll let you know (nicely) that some of your faves should be making their way to the recycle bin! (You get £5 put onto your Boots Advantage card - to soften the blow!)

4. Some cosmetics just aren’t friends and don’t sit well together. Using a silicone based primer with a water based foundation? Sorry, it’s not a match!

Dewy bridal skin - let’s talk!

Back in the day this was firmly a “No Go” ❌ zone.

For years, makeup artists were advised to matte it down, lock it in, and banish shine like it was the enemy - as it didn’t photograph well.

To some degree - we still agree! ✔️

But here’s the twist … modern bridal beauty is leaning into glow and the old rules have been thrown out of the window.🪟✨

Today our brides and their wedding parties are more often wanting real skin, fresh finishes and that just-left-the-spa 🧖‍♀️kinda radiance.

The key?

It’s not more glow, it’s smart glow.

Strategic placement.

Skin prep that does the heavy lifting with products that play nicely with longevity (because no one wants their “dewy” turning into “slippery” by the first dance). 💃

Not traditionally recommended, but increasingly requested. And when it’s done right? It’s unreal.

Soft. Luminous. Effortlessly expensive-looking skin.
