Why am I sharing this….
1. I understand I am not the first to undergo abdominal surgery and others will recognise this scar
2. I want to share my journey with you to help others that might want to reduce the appearance of their scars too
3. September is Gynaecological Cancer Awareness Month and I would like to help create awareness and support for those who maybe going through a similar journey 🙏
So far…I’ve kept the wound clean, dry and only used clinisept spray to reduce wound infection
As I’m now 4 weeks post operative, I will now start with topical skincare only

This is my skin day 4...which I would say is probably the worst day for me
However...I think I actually look ok 👌
