Ever had a 4 hand massage?! 🙌🙌 Ever wish your partner was better at giving you a massage? Or wish you were better?

Today I trained a lovely couple in the art of massage and it was so brilliant! One got on the massage couch and I guided the other on how to massage effectively, applying the right pressure in the right places and utilising every bit of their wonderful hands. Then they swapped over!

We chatted about massage oils, balms and essential oils and ways to help massage more comfortably on a bed (although they might treat themselves to a massage couch now!).

A 90-min session to boost their confidence and give them tips and tricks - and they both got a massage out of it. A pretty dreamy afternoon that will hopefully inspire them to massage one another more confidently at home.

The most beautiful part - seeing the connection between two people who love each other, and want to treat one another. And, I always say it, but THAT'S the power of touch ❤️

An update about why I'm choosing to currently stop offering my beloved "Mum & Me" parties, and a reminder about my opening hours, pamper parties and vouchers 💌

Please know I'm so grateful for every single booking and look forward to working in a better way to support my own family ❤️

If anyone has an outstanding voucher for a "Mum & Me" party please do get in touch. This does not affect any bookings during the Easter holidays. I hope to offer them again during the summer holidays, but will announce this closer to the time.

Spring has sprung here at the 🌱 I've got the windows open, the cabin's had a deep clean, I've just done my first spray tan of the year, and have lots of waxing booked in!

The new year used to officially start in March, up until Roman times, and I'm still very much in the belief it makes way more sense than in January!! The sight of new buds, blossom, sunglasses, bare arms and longer daylight is just so hopeful!!

When it comes to beauty, it's a great time of year to consider practicing a good skincare routine, wearing SPF (although you should do this all year round 😉), removing unwanted hair and starting to think about getting those lovely legs and feet out!

I love how the rhythms of beauty - what's popular, what's not - moves with the rhythms of the seasons and can't wait to treat you all.

Well that's a wrap on 2025 pamper parties! 🎉 We've hosted over 60 parties this year and treated 500 kids!! Today we finished our year at a lovely house and painted nails beside the Christmas tree🎄💅

Thank you for all of your support this year! As we enter our fourth year (!) we are still blown away by the success and popularity of our parties 🙏

With the start of advent, comes the Christmas nails!! 💅🎄🥳

Loved creating these gorgeous festive nails with glitter and nails stickers - I'm not a confident "nail art" artist, but I have lots of Christmas stickers which work perfectly, feel smooth and look glitzy!

These are ready for a Christmas party this week! 🎉

👩‍🎓 PAMPER CABIN BEAUTY SCHOOL👩‍🎓

This artist/illustrator 🎨 is turning her hand to nail art 💅and came to me for gel manicure training! She had practised a bit on herself, but had never painted anyone else's nails with gels - and she did absolutely amazingly!! 👏

We covered hygiene, how to prep the nails, paint the nails with gel, add glitter and a French tip, remove them and massage the hands 🎉

A few hours 1:1 and so much was achieved! She's gone away to practice her new skills, complete some case studies and will be gaining a new qualification very soon, ready to embark on her new skill!

I was in my element, it didn't feel like work one single bit! I can't wait to launch more courses - keep your eyes peeled for more info by the end of this month! 👀

The is FIVE YEARS OLD! 🎉

Many of you ask how long I've been open for, and I didn't realise my 5th birthday had just passed!

I'd had my second child, survived the first lockdown and then it was all systems go! I'd been running my business on a mobile basis for 3 years prior to this and I was so excited for clients to come to me - and luckily they did!

I've had a couple of part jobs in that time to support my income and gain new qualifications, but the dream was to make my business fully sustainable. I sometimes have to take a minute to pause and realise I'm now doing it!

A huge thank you to my amazing clients who make this possible! Some of you I've known since before the Pamper Cabin, when I was doing mobile treatments in the Pampervan and wedding makeup.

I truly love my job, meeting and treating people most days! I have total job satisfaction knowing I'm making a small difference to people's lives. I'm proud to specialise in making mums prioritise self-care (with or without their babies and kids), and I've treated hundreds of kids through pamper parties and Mum & Me pamper sessions.

What does the future hold? I'm working on offering training in all the beauty treatments I offer to beauty therapists who need some refresher training or anyone looking for a new skill (I just need to get on with it 😂).

It's that, or I randomly get offered a spa management job abroad (which I occasionally apply for!) 🤪

The biggest thank you to everyone who comes to the cabin for a treatment, follows me on here, supports me, likes my posts and asks me how business is going. I am truly very grateful 🙏🏼

Summer feels like it's well and truly over, so...next stop - Hallowe'en! 👻🎃🦇

A little reminder for us all 🌼

I messaged a client of mine last night to let her know I would only be free for her 1hr slot today and wouldn't be able to chat for long afterwards, because I had back to back clients either side of her. Maybe I didn't need to, but she likes to chat and wait for her bus and I try to accommodate her.

But when she arrived, she commented that she'd counted it was the 4th time "I've let her down":

1st time - I was ill, I did stupidly forgot to message her, she turned up and I did her treatment anyway.
2nd time - I had to reschedule as my son was off school with chickenpox.
3rd time - I asked if she would move her appointment slightly so I could fit in another client.
4th time - Today, because I told her I had no extra time.

She asked "what is going on" and I was quite taken aback. I simply said, sorry - I'm doing my best.

I'm super grateful that most of my clients understand that I'm self-employed, I work around my kids, and I have to maximise the time I have available for clients. I do message people to push them back or move them forwards a bit to help squeeze in more clients. I understand if people can't, and am always grateful if you can.

This brings me onto the booking system that I was hoping to launch in September. I tried one, but I'm not 100% happy with it and know it won't make life easier. Do I feel bad? Slightly. But I also know I've been flat out all summer giving my kids an amazing holidays and working as much and as hard as I can. So it will happen, when it happens ✨

Sometimes I'm productive and killing it with work, sometimes I'm really not and sometimes I make mistakes.

But ALL the time, I'm doing my best 🙏🏼
