For some, we find Meraki in love, Meraki in our career, and for me, my passion is skincare Trained in paramedic science at university, as well as, educated in facial skincare and massage. I have built a good underlying knowledge of anatomy and physiology of our body, especially our skin. With great knowledge and understanding of what our skin does at a cellular level, enables me to interpret what our skin needs and why. The beauty industry is forever changing, with a broad spectrum of treatments and products it can be hard to comprehend what will work for you. Every person is different, our meraki is different and so is our skin. When we think about health, we think about what goes on inside our bodies. As well as being the largest organ in our body, the skin has several functions, the main function is protection. Our skin protects us from invading viruses, bacteria, harmful UV rays and so many other things that are detrimental to our health. Good skincare, not only contributes to our physical health but it can have an impact on our mental health. Taking time out of your day to relax and enjoy "me" time, is gaining momentum. we are starting to realise, that we are responsible for our own happiness. A mans skin tends to be a little thicker with a bit more grease and they even have higher densities of collagen than women in the later years of life. However, men don't take care of their skin even with those intrinsic benefits, men just aren't as sun savvy and we tend not to see the differences between men and women. We all need a bit of self care. Get your man involved, you don't have to grow old, you can stay looking younger together 💚

An advanced facial treatment performed in sterile conditions to encourage a controlled trauma. Stimulating the production of collagen and elastin in the skin.
