Faux Dreadlocks

I love how my technique for installation had adapted over time whilst my clients hair has got longer and longer.

I used to lock all of her hair it tightly packed at the root, now she has enough length that we can do a lock at the roots, then cross cross the length down and end with another lock.

I think it actually adds to the effect of them. Always satisfying to install. Never gets old!

Festival season will soon be upon us, if you’re planning any events or holidays I suggest booking in as much advance as you can to save risk of any disappointment! I always try to say yes to everyone but I always have a limit to my availability as I work full time in addition to running MaesBraidz.

Faux Dreads in brown ombré

Absolutely love how this set came out for my lovely new client!

Dreads can last for up to 2-3 months before a scalp break and full refresh is needed, giving you so much bang for your buck.

This full set of double ended was fully installed in under 2 hours.

Just a quick one to say that I am still here - I know I’ve barely been posting!

I’ve become super busy in other aspects of life but I’m still here and looking forward to braiding more as we come into spring/summer.
