This lovely client came to me after having two post-surgery lymphatic drainage treatments with two different practitioners. Unfortunately, neither treatment had been performed correctly. 🫣

As you can see, she was extremely swollen. I've honestly never seen so much fluid retention in someone's body before. Her lower abdomen literally felt like a water mattress.

This is why post-operative lymphatic drainage is so important. When it's performed correctly, it can support healing, reduce swelling, and help achieve the best possible recovery. However, when it's done incorrectly, it may increase the risk of complications such as seromas and fibrosis.
