A huge congratulations to Mikey and Lucas on their first Punch for Purpose charity boxing night!🥊

To raise over £12,000 for a range of different charities through their very first event is an incredible achievement, and a real reflection of the hard work and commitment the two of them have poured into making the night such a success. The effort behind the scenes did not go unnoticed, and we couldn’t be prouder to have been there to support it.

Moments like this are always a reminder of exactly why Mikey and Lucas were the first role models we brought into Next Gen. Their influence goes far beyond the ring. They lead with heart, they care deeply about community, and they understand how to turn their platform into something positive for others.

We often think back to something Mikey said on his podcast episode with Keshia: “Why fight for free?” It’s a message that hits hard with so many of the young people we work with; the idea that your energy, your story and your talent can be channelled into something bigger, something purposeful and something that gives back.

We’re so proud of you both. What a night, and what a way to make an impact👏

We’re proud to now share our 2025/26 Academic Year Impact Report📋

This report offers a snapshot of the work Politely Rebellious Next Gen CIC has delivered over the past academic year, the young people and communities we’ve had the privilege of working alongside, and the impact that has only been possible because of the incredible people around us.

As always, this report is about far more than numbers. It reflects the conversations, opportunities, challenges, growth and moments of belief that sit behind our work every day. Every session, every partnership, every young person who has trusted us, and every supporter who has backed our mission has played a part in the story of this year.

We’re so proud of what has been achieved and deeply grateful to every school, partner, funder, role model, supporter and young person who has been part of the journey.

Thank you for continuing to believe in the importance of creating spaces, opportunities and support that genuinely make a difference.

We hope you enjoy reading through the report and reflecting on the year with us 🖤

Not your usual Friday scene 🌊⛵️

A brilliant day sailing over to the Isle of Wight with some of the PRNG team! A great chance to step away from the usual pace, spend some quality time together and enjoy something a little bit different.

A huge thank you to Simon for the invite! We’re really grateful for the opportunity and for the time together as a team.

Safe to say… there are worse ways to spend a Friday☀️

A huge thank you to Loadbalancer for raising an incredible £522 for Politely Rebellious Next Gen CIC through their recent fundraising 👟💸

From Vinted sales to step challenges, their team have found brilliant ways to come together, get involved and raise money that will go straight back into supporting young people through the work we do across our community.

Support like this genuinely makes a difference. It helps us continue creating opportunities, delivering meaningful projects and showing up for young people in the spaces where they need it most.

Thank you to everyone at Loadbalancer, we can't wait to see the next challenge! 👏

Great to see the Fair Ways Phoenix out in Gunwharf 💜 Fair Ways

Projects like this matter because they create space for the stories, experiences and journeys of care-experienced young people to be seen and valued.

Through creativity and reflection, the Phoenix Journey shines a light on themes of resilience, perseverance and growth, helping to bring greater awareness and understanding to the lived experiences of those with care experience in a way that feels meaningful.

We know how important it is for young people’s stories to be told with honesty and dignity, and it’s brilliant to see a project using public space to spark those conversations in our community👏

Young Person Spotlight | FILIPPO
Filippo joined VOYCE looking to build confidence, develop his skills and gain greater insight into the world of work, and his journey since then has been brilliant to watch.

Throughout VOYCE, Filippo embraced new experiences and stepped outside of his comfort zone, growing in confidence with every opportunity. From engaging in hands-on group activities and contributing to the StepWise project site, to gaining valuable industry insight into professional and call centre working environments, Filippo approached the programme with openness and determination.

One of the most powerful parts of Filippo’s journey was hearing the stories of professionals and learning that career journeys are rarely straightforward. Through these experiences, he developed stronger social skills, gained confidence speaking with professionals and discovered the value of teamwork and persistence.

Since taking part in VOYCE, Filippo has continued building on that growth and recently attended a successful first interview with TOOB, giving him the opportunity to showcase his skills and gain valuable interview experience 👏

This is what VOYCE is all about; creating opportunities, building confidence and helping young people realise what they are capable of.

Because the work has always been about the people.

The young people who trust us with their stories.
The conversations that stay with us long after the session ends.
The role models, supporters and team members who show up, day in and day out.
The laughter, the honesty, the growth, the difficult moments and the breakthroughs.

Behind every workshop, every project, every opportunity and every piece of delivery are real people, real relationships and a real belief that young people deserve to be seen, heard and invested in properly.

This is just a small glimpse of what that looks like🎞️

At Politely Rebellious Next Gen CIC, we often talk about the importance of lived experience, authentic relationships and positive role models. Recently, one of our team members, Jade, demonstrated exactly why this matters.

After meeting the lovely ladies at Fair Ways Chill & Chat, there was an opportunity for Jade to visit a young person and share her own lived experience, helping to answer questions, provide reassurance and offer encouragement during what can be a challenging time for this young person and their family.

We were incredibly touched to receive these kind words:
“...Jade, I just wanted to say a huge thank you for your time today. It genuinely felt very special having you come into our home. Your lived experience, combined with your knowledge made our conversation all the more meaningful. I absolutely loved the way you interacted with **. They were so engaged, and having their questions answered by someone so knowledgeable, understanding, and kind, who’s been through it themselves, meant so much to them. After you left, ** said how much he liked you and how valuable he found the visit. We’re truly grateful for the time you gave us today..”

This is what Next Gen is all about, creating meaningful connections, showing up for young people and using our experiences to help others feel less alone.

We are incredibly proud to have Jade as part of the Next Gen team 💛 Jade Sansom
