When was the last time you truly let go body, mind, and soul?

The ultimate soul cleansing experience in Southsea, right inside Blossoms Boutique.

A deeply soothing treatment designed to release, reset, and reconnect you with yourself. 🌺

You’re not meant to carry it all...

Most of it isn’t even meant to stay.

Tension begins to melt away, creating space for both body and mind to reset.

Not rushed. Not forced.
Just time, intention, and care.

It’s not just a massage, it’s a reset.

Lomi Lomi is rooted in Hawaiian tradition - a practice that goes beyond the physical. It’s about restoring harmony, releasing what the body has been holding, and creating space for something lighter.

For me, it’s not just what I do, but why I do it. A way of bringing intention, care, and connection into every treatment.

This is where your body begins to realign, and your mind is finally able to slow down.

Part 2 coming soon - sharing more of the meaning behind Lomi Lomi and why it’s so special to me.

Take a moment for yourself.

Today we celebrate the nurturing energy that mothers bring into the world šŸŒŗā¤ļøšŸŒŗ

In Hawaiian tradition, healing touch was often passed from mothers to daughters. Lomi Lomi was never just a massage. It was a way of caring for the body, soothing the mind and restoring harmony within the family.

The spirit of Lomi Lomi carries that same intention of deep nurturing and loving presence.

Today I honour all mothers, including myself ā˜ŗļøgrandmothers and women who hold space for others with patience, strength and love ā™„ļø

May you also take a moment to receive care!

Happy Mother’s Day!šŸ’šŸ©·šŸ’

Motherhood is one of the deepest expressions of care - a constant offering of love, presence, and energy.

As mothers, we spend so much of our lives nurturing others, often forgetting how important it is to nurture ourselves too.

At Makana, the essence of every massage is care.

Through the flowing movements of Lomi Lomi, inspired by the rhythm of the ocean, the body is invited to soften, release, and return to balance.

As a mother myself, I understand how meaningful it is to create moments where we can simply pause… breathe… and feel supported.

This space was created with that intention - a place where you can reconnect with yourself and allow your body to rest.

This Mother’s Day, honour the women who give so much love every day with a moment of calm, care, and deep relaxation.

Mother's Day packages and gift vouchers are available at Makana Massage Therapy 🌺

Today, on International Women's Day, I want to share a gentle reminder.
Bliss is not a luxury.
It is not a reward for completing all the responsibilities.
And it is not a moment a woman allows herself only when everything around her is finally done.
Bliss is her natural state.
Like the warmth of the earth under bare feet on the first day of spring.
Like the soft morning light that does not ask anyone for permission to fill the world.
In many ancient traditions it was understood that a woman who lives close to this state becomes like fertile ground.
She does not need to force.
She does not need to chase.
She attracts.
Because bliss is not passivity.
It is a deep trust in life.
When a woman's body is tense and exhausted, the ground dries.
When it softens again and returns to presence, everything begins to bloom.
Bliss is the prayer of the body.
A moment when breath, heart and mind speak the same language again.
It appears when a woman allows herself to feel life through her senses.
The warmth of touch.
The softness of breath.
The quiet presence of a moment that belongs only to her.
Today I wish every woman more space for that softness, presence and quiet bliss.
Aloha
