Summer’s over… but we’re keeping the glow 🍂✨
As we head into autumn, I’m switching things up — from my skincare right through to the brown eyeshadow and brown lips 🤎😂
I’ve been trying the NEW CeraVe Brightening Vitamin C Lotion, designed to visibly reduce the appearance of pigmentation, dark patches and uneven skin tone while helping to strengthen the skin barrier.
It contains a Vitamin C derivative and 3 essential ceramides, and what I’ve noticed straight away is how lightweight and fast-absorbing it feels. No heavy or greasy feeling afterwards 🙌🏼 It’s also fragrance-free.
Obviously, pigmentation and uneven skin tone aren't going to disappear overnight, so this is one I want to keep using and see how my skin changes over time. 👀
But first impressions? My skin feels lovely, hydrated and ready for my favourite season…

First impressions? I’m impressed. My hair feels lovely, it looks good and we’re off to a VERY promising start… 👀

The real reason I’m trying this is because I want to see a genuine difference in the health, strength and length of my hair. And that isn’t something I can judge after one wash.

So this is going to be a proper 1–2 month Beauty on Trial test. ⚖️

I’ll keep using it, keep checking in and showing you how my hair is getting on — because I want to know whether those lovely instant results actually turn into noticeable long-term results.

Wait… a foundation that CHANGES COLOUR to match your skin?! 👀🤯

I had to put this one to the test!

This is the Smooch colour-changing foundation. It starts off looking like it couldn't possibly be the right shade… then as you work it into the skin, the colour begins to adapt. ✨

And THIS is exactly why I wanted to show you the application rather than just show you the finished makeup.

Then, of course, came the real test…

Life feels really heavy at the moment.

Today I didn't have the energy to talk through products, explain what I'm using or give you a verdict. I didn't really have the energy to talk at all.

So I just sat down and did my makeup. 🤍

Sometimes makeup isn't about looking younger, looking prettier or trying the newest product.

Sometimes it's just something familiar.
Something you know how to do when everything else feels a little bit out of your control.

So there’s no product list today. No review. No Order in the Court. ⚖️

Just me doing my makeup, and if you're learning, hopefully you can pick up a few little techniques just by watching along.

And if you're having one of those days too… you don't always have to explain it. Sometimes just getting through the day is enough. 🤍

There is something SO satisfying about actually taking the time to do your skincare properly rather than rushing through it! 😂

Taking a few minutes to work everything into the skin, give the face a little massage and just enjoy the process… because skincare isn’t only about the products you use, it’s about how you use them too. 🤍

And can we appreciate that fresh, glowy skin at the end?! ✨

I’m really trying to be more consistent with taking that extra bit of time with my skin rather than just slap, rub, DONE 😂
