**Country Music Evening at Cuffley Manor Care Home**

We had a fantastic Country Music Evening at Cuffley Manor Care Home, bringing our residents and members of the local community together for a wonderful evening of music and companionship.

We were delighted to be joined by the talented singer Denise Scott, who entertained everyone with a brilliant selection of country music. There was plenty of singing along, toe-tapping and smiling throughout the evening.

It was lovely to see residents and community members enjoying the music together, sharing conversations and creating special memories.

A huge thank you to Denise Scott for making the evening so enjoyable, and to everyone from our community who joined us.

Creative Minds Session with Elaine at Cuffley Manor Care Home

We had a wonderful Creative Minds session with Elaine at Cuffley Manor Care Home, where everyone enjoyed painting and decorating their very own teacups.

The session was filled with creativity, conversation and plenty of smiles as everyone chose their own colours and designs, making each teacup completely unique.

Creative activities like this provide a wonderful opportunity for self-expression, choice, social interaction and meaningful engagement, while supporting confidence and wellbeing.

A big thank you to Elaine for another enjoyable and inspiring session. We loved seeing everyone’s beautiful creations!

💙 **Learning Together at Cuffley Manor** 💙

Today at Cuffley Manor, our Care Service Manager, **Sheila**, delivered a bite-sized **Moving & Handling and Fire Safety training session** for our residents’ relatives, friends and families. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦🏡

We believe that care works best when we work together. Giving families an opportunity to understand some of the practices and procedures we follow every day helps them see not only **what we do, but why we do it** — keeping our residents, visitors and team members safe while promoting dignity, independence and wellbeing.

It was lovely to see relatives getting involved, asking questions and gaining some practical knowledge along the way. ❤️

At Cuffley Manor, we want our families to feel part of our home and comfortable asking questions. **Our door is always open** to anyone who is curious to learn more about our processes, understand the reasons behind the way we work, or simply gain some additional knowledge.

Our residents enjoyed a wonderful trip to Trent Park in Cockfosters!

It was a lovely opportunity to spend time outdoors, take in the beautiful surroundings and enjoy plenty of smiles and laughter together. Everyone had a fantastic time, creating more special memories along the way.

This morning, we had the absolute pleasure of welcoming **Joan and the adorable Molly from Pets As Therapy** to Cuffley Manor. 🐶✨

Molly certainly brought plenty of smiles, cuddles and happiness to our home. Our lovely resident **Carol was completely in agreement that Molly is the sweetest little ball of fluff!** 🥰🐾

There is something so special about the companionship and joy that our four-legged visitors bring, and it was wonderful to see the lovely interactions and smiles throughout the morning.

We are also delighted that **Joan and Molly will be visiting us more regularly**, and we are already looking forward to welcoming them back! 💕

We were delighted to host a professional breakfast at Cuffley Manor, bringing people together in a warm and welcoming environment.

Guests enjoyed a delicious selection of freshly prepared breakfast favourites while connecting, sharing ideas and building meaningful professional relationships.

A wonderful day by the seaside!

Our residents, Bridie and John, enjoyed a lovely trip to Southend-on-Sea. From taking in the beautiful coastal views to sharing smiles and laughter, they had a fantastic time creating special memories together.

This week, we had the pleasure of spending time at Cuffley Day Centre as part of our ongoing collaboration with Cuffley Day Centre- HILS Community Hub, HILS - Health & Independent Living Support.

It was wonderful to spend time with members of the local community, share conversations, enjoy some lovely company and, most importantly, continue building meaningful connections with the people and organisations around us.

At Cuffley Manor, we strongly believe that being part of our community means much more than simply being a care home. It’s about creating connections, supporting one another and making sure that older people have opportunities to stay socially connected, engaged and involved.

Our ongoing relationship with HILS is a great example of how local organisations can come together to make a positive difference.

A huge thank you to everyone at Cuffley Day Centre and the HILS team for welcoming us so warmly. We’re looking forward to continuing to work together and creating more opportunities for connection, friendship and community across Cuffley and the surrounding area.
