Today marks two weeks since Dad died 💔 As a family we have been truly altered forever.
The past two weeks I have started a new job, reopened the clinic and have been doing normal family life but I have felt like this is not real life as I feel the loss of my wee Dad so acutely the grief is visceral!
Today I ran Vitality London 10,000 for the PulmonaryFibrosisTrust I engaged with PulmonaryFibrosisTrust when dad got sick this summer and it has given me a great focus in the days since his passing and to all the people in my@life who have donated we have absolutely smash my target! You are all LEGENDS
But I have learned you can’t escape grief no matter how far or how fast you run. So, I must now run with the grief, feel my feelings and know that’s it’s ok, there is no timeframe on this we are all just muddling through. We only get one go at life you don’t know when your clock runs out so let’s move forward with our memories, gratitude and kindness
You will be forever in my heart Daddy, today is the first of many runs and I will take you with me on them all 🥰

Friends,
My wee Daddy left this world last night in the arms of his loving wife and surrounded my his family. His bright light has shone its last but we will continue to carry him with us for the rest of our lives ❤️
50 days in hospital, he fought the good fight under the excellent care of the palliative care team at University Hospital Waterford daddy was able to end his journey in Peace and with dignity
