We are thrilled to be the recipient of the Menopause O-ward for Best Growth Serum from @oprahdaily. In the quest to find the best beauty and wellness products to support women through this changeable period, a panel of expert judges, including obs and gyn doctors, dermatologists, and medical advisors, scoured the markets for the best moisturizers, oils, serums and supplements to revitalize skin, hair and energy levels.

A little known fact is that hair quality does diminish around a woman’s mid age. Much has been made of the stereotype of the balding middle-aged man, but more attention is being drawn these days to the thinning, shedding and general diminishing of hair quality for women during menopause.

“The reality is that females have estrogen receptors throughout just about every organ system in their bodies: their brains, skin and hair, gut, bladder, cardiovascular system, bones, and joints. This is why estrogen fluctuations in perimenopause and the persistently low estrogen levels in menopause produce such a myriad of symptoms,” says Sharon Malone, MD, ob/gyn, chief medical advisor of Alloy, and author of Grown Woman Talk.

The Advanced Hair System has been used by thousands of women worldwide and trusted by hair experts and doctors for its consistent results and safe approach to treating hair loss.

What you can expect from the treatment:
- initial signs of regrowth from the 6th to 12th treatment
- Steady improvement with each application thereafter, with users reporting continued growth even after 6 months to a year of use.
- Zero reported side effects, which is ideal for women struggling with nutrition deficits or decreased energy levels

What’s more, it is a treatment routine that you can embark on either at home with the supplied dermastamper; or under the supervision of a professional. Look on our Professional Directory for a clinic or salon close to you.

Are you ready to explore science-based solutions for menopause hair loss?

Exciting News for Menopausal Hair Loss!

I’m currently trialing Calecim Professional, and my gut feeling is that this will become a staple treatment in the salon. It’s showing amazing potential for menopausal hair loss, helping to rejuvenate the scalp and support stronger, healthier hair growth.

It’s still in the testing phase, but the results so far are looking really promising! If you think you might be interested, just drop me a message or mention it at your next visit—I’d love to chat about it with you.

If Pantene is claiming to give you hair repair on a molecular level! really, then why am I wasting my time spending lots of money stocking k-18
Next time i’ll just send you to boots 🙄

Honestly please don’t listen to everything you hear or see on tv.
Let’s break its ingredients down one by one.

Bis-Aminopropyl Dimethicone & Methicone – Silicone derivatives that smooth and coat the hair shaft but do not repair internal damage.

Stearyl Alcohol, Cetyl Alcohol, Behentrimonium Methosulfate – Fatty alcohols and conditioning agents that make hair feel soft and detangled but don’t rebuild broken bonds.

Histidine – An amino acid that helps chelate metals from water, reducing oxidative stress, but it doesn’t repair keratin structure.

Panthenol & Panthenyl Ethyl Ether (Pro-Vitamin B5) – Hydrating and conditioning but doesn’t rebuild broken peptide chains.

Biotin – Supports hair health but does not pe*****te or repair the hair structure.

Does This Repair Hair on a Molecular Level?

No!!! The formula is heavily based on silicones, conditioning agents, and minor strengthening ingredients like histidine. It may help reduce surface damage and prevent further weakening, but it does not pe*****te the hair cortex to rebuild polypeptide chains like K18 does.

How K18 Differs:
K18’s peptide technology is biomimetic, meaning it can pe*****te the hair cortex and reconnect polypeptide chains. This is actual molecular repair, not just surface conditioning.

Final Verdict:
Pantene improves hair feel and resilience cosmetically but does not fundamentally repair damaged keratin on a molecular level. K18 actually reverses some structural damage, making it superior for true molecular repair.

Also if you’ve gotten this far down my post (thank you) don’t be suckered in by really cheap k-18 because it might just be fake.!

It’s very hard to tell the real from the fake. And believe me there are lots of fake ones out there!

I do discount mine as much as I can

Your not just paying for the product from me your buying into

Transformation time! ✨

My client wanted to shift from a lived-in look back to something brighter, and guess what? Just 8 highlights made a huge difference!

Her hair is looking fresh and luminous, with the lived-in tones softened for a seamless blend.

But not all goes to plan 🫣
After the cut, we both agreed it actually looked a bit darker, so next time, we’ll brighten up her ends even more for that extra pop she’s been craving.

Great hair is a collaboration! I love to hear how you’d like your hair to be. Because I’m not an actual mind reader, although I like to think I am sometimes 😂

Communication is key to achieving the perfect look, and I love working with my clients to bring their vision to life.

If you’re thinking of a change just give me the heads up before your next appointment and we can schedule a visit to chat about it. ✨

✨ So, this time last Sunday… we did a thing! ✨
🪩🥳👑👸🫅🎊🪅🪩

We hosted our very own Princess Party—a magical day filled with fairy-tale makeovers, fancy dresses, balloons, sparkles, princess songs, and even princess cakes! 🧁✨

But beyond the glitter and tiaras, this event was all about something bigger! Giving Back.

We came together to raise funds for causes so close to our hearts

☘️St. Patrick’s School (where mine and my mates kids go)

🏥Rosemere Cancer Centre (for the incredible care they give to my dad and everyone they treat)

👸👑The Little Princess Trust (who provide wigs for children experiencing hair loss).

One of the most incredible moments of the day? Some of our brave little princesses cut off more than 12 inches of their hair to donate to The Little Princess Trust. Seeing their courage and kindness was truly inspiring—they knew their hair would go to a child who needed it more, and they embraced the change with huge smiles. It was such a proud and emotional moment! 💖🥲👏👏👏

I couldn’t have done this without the generosity of my colleagues, friends, clients, and our incredible community. The love and support from everyone made the day such a huge success, even if things didn’t go exactly to plan (because let’s be real, when do they ever?).🤣

Looking back, I do wish we had more time to make each little girl feel like a true princess, taken more pictures 📸 , and captured a group photo with all my amazing friends who gave up their Sunday to make this happen 🫶 But honestly? Seeing all those smiles made it 💯 perfect 🥰

Thank you to everyone who played a part—you truly made magic happen! ✨👑

“Less is more when it comes to highlights! ✨

I brightened up my client’s fringe to blend seamlessly with her naturally sun-kissed ends, creating effortless dimension without over-lightening.

The result? A soft, natural glow that enhances her hair’s movement and depth. Subtle placement = maximum impact!
