Today marks the next chapter after an amazing 5½ years our darling Mya is becoming her own boss! We are beyond proud of this incredible young lady. From the moment she started with me at just 14, we’ve had the privilege of watching her grow into the talented professional she is today.

Mya has always been hardworking, quick to learn, and determined to succeed. She is kind, loyal, trustworthy, creative, and truly professional in everything she does. She has surpassed all expectations in so many ways, and we couldn’t be prouder of everything she has achieved.

Her hairdressing career has been nothing short of excellent, and we’re so grateful that she’s continuing her journey with us as she steps into self-employment.

Mya, you are a special human and we adore you, as does each client you share your creativity and professionalism with. Wishing you all the very best for this exciting new chapter.

Recently, we had the privilege of caring for a client undergoing cancer treatment who was feeling self-conscious about having her head shaved. It was a deeply humbling experience and a reminder of just how vulnerable and emotional hair loss can be.

No one should ever feel exposed or uncomfortable during such a personal moment.

From that experience, we felt strongly that we could do more. We have now created a private suite within our salon — a peaceful, discreet space designed to offer comfort, compassion, and complete privacy.

This space is available for clients experiencing medical hair loss, those living with alopecia, or anyone who may simply be having a day where a quiet, one-to-one appointment feels right.

Above all, we want every person who walks through our doors to feel safe, supported, and truly cared for.
