On the 12th April 2019 I got the phone every wife dreads, my husband had taken his own life. After a decade long battle with PTSD his fight was finally over.

So today let's talk about a topic that often gets overlooked - men's mental health. 💚

Men, just like anyone else, go through ups and downs in life. It's crucial that we create a safe space where they can openly express their thoughts and emotions, without feeling judged or stigmatized. And guess who can play a significant role in this? Our amazing barbers! 💈✂️

Barbershops are much more than just places to get a fresh cut - they are sanctuaries where people connect, build relationships, and share their stories. They provide an incredibly conducive environment for open, honest conversations, and the impact they can have on men's mental health is truly remarkable. 🗣️💙

So, let's appreciate our barbers for being more than just hair stylists. They are confidants, listeners, and supporters who lend a sympathetic ear to their customers. They create a safe space where we can share our fears, doubts, and struggles, knowing we won't be judged. Their presence can be therapeutic and bring a sense of comfort during times of distress. 🤗
