Gloucester Half Marathon✅

With little training leading up to the run with the Basketball season in full flow, my body certainly felt it afterwards.

Chip Time: 1:57.06

First 6k was nice and chilled. Started to push on for the next 12k which felt great. But the last 3k was a serious pain cave.

Looking forward to hopefully getting Manchester Half in the books in October.

HybridNW 3.0

A tough workout on a sunny Sunday. I think it’s safe to say I felt the effects of a long game of Basketball on the Saturday but enjoyed it nonetheless. Due to the competition being at the business end of the season neither, myself or Martin could hit a strict or specific training block leading up to it, so definitely a lot of room for improvement.

2024 you’ve been an absolute pleasure. From starting DoJo Therapy and Performance officially in April, to Graduating university in July, and meeting all our clients this year; it’s been a fun year and had plenty of learning curves.

We can’t wait to see how 2025 turns out and we can’t thank you all enough.

Between the 28th of November and the 24th December Concept2 are running a challenge for charity where they will donate a small sum of money to a chosen charity for every 1000m completed on one of their RowErg, SkiErg or BikeErg’s.

In conjunction with this, I have decided to raise some additional money for Cancer Research UK.

Cancer Research UK strive to beat a disease that is very close to the hearts of mine, and many other families around the world.

Any donations would be greatly appreciated no matter how big or small, and if you could share this post to spread the word that would also be incredible!

I aim to complete over 200,000m during the course of the month, and will be posting regular updates on my progress with the challenge and total donations.

In our next competition, we’re challenging you to a “MURPH”. This particular workout honours the life of Lieutenant Michael Murphy who died serving in Afghanistan in 2005. The workout consisted of: a one-mile Run, 100 Pull-Ups, 200 Push-Ups, 300 Squats, and finished with another one-mile Run.

This is a true test of mental and physical toughness. However, to ensure everyone has the opportunity to take part test their limits, we have 3 different categories which you can enter.

By completing a full MURPH as an individual within a set time, you will automatically win a Trophy, T-Shirt and Sports Massage.
