This is a warning post for all hair replacement companies. We have been scammed and I want to warn all other HR busineses. If your business is fairly local to Preston then please read this post.
We had a woman call asking to book her boyfriend in for a refusion, she stated he was desperate and could she pay over the phone. I agreed and took the payment and booked him in. His girlfriend then called around 3 weeks later saying she loved what we had done and could he please come back for another refusion. The last payment had seemed to go through without any problems so I agreed and booked him in again. The girlfriend then called again and said she wanted to surprise him and could she buy him some new hair, like a fool I agreed.
One week later I got a charge back for the first payment then a charge back for the second payment. Feel totally stupid because I even gave him some free products because I thought he was a nice young lad.
He went by the name Adam Khan and he said he was from Accrington. He was Asian and around mid to late 20's. He said he was getting married early next year and the only other thing I can say about him was he sounded like he had breathing problems because he sounded asleep (snuffling/snoring) while awake.
Please share so other HR companies can be aware and if anyone has fallen victim of this already, please let me know. Thanks
