It’s really helpful to share with your bridesmaids your artists portfolio, this gives them time to look over styles and descriptions to find what suits them

Looking at AI generated images, or heavily edited Pinterest images gives an unrealistic expectation of how makeup will look on you, and in real life, finding a portfolio of work with real women, with similar features, is much more helpful

Every bridal booking includes my ‘stay on service’ where I stay right up until you are ready to walk down the aisle

I stay on hand while you get in your dress, ready for those warm moments that may call for a little touch up powder, last minute lip top ups so you can sip your bubbles, and also dress reveals, as extra security through those pre aisle emotions

I will do touch ups for all bridesmaids, so they don’t have to worry about eating and drinking as lip top ups for everyone will be scheduled in to your personal schedule of order for the morning

I will calmly pack up and slip away in time for all those gorgeous photos, so I’m not photo bombing

Just a polite notice, I do not do veils, I’m no hair stylist and would hate to ruin your gorgeous bridal hair, so please ensure your hair stylist attaches your veil 🤍

Bridal Trial Vs Wedding Day

Your bridal trial is to trial a style, products and finish you think you may like. Sometimes the makeup you find on Pinterest, doesn’t suit, or feel like you once applied. Other times the trial makeup comes out nearly perfect, so we discuss the tweaks we need to make

For Georgina’s makeup on the wedding day, we decided to do less eyeshadow on the eyes, and make the wing and her gorgeous natural lashes the focus. Her complexion was a shade darker to match her summer tan, and we used a different powder, to give slightly more longevity for any oily prone areas. The last change was the lip, we went a shade darker

I think the small changes made a huge difference taking a look we liked, to a look we loved!

My advice to all brides is to ensure you keep things simple, a gentle cleanser, a gentle exfoliation and a good moisturiser suited to your skin type, and the most underrated skin tip….Stay Hydrated!!

Each bridal trial is bespoke to you and your skin needs and preferences. Advice is given depending on what I feel you may benefit from, which is most commonly adding a gentle exfoliation to polish the skin to remove build up and dry patches ready for makeup application, to ensure a smoother finish and better longevity

Mother Of The Bride

In most cases, the most nervous person to have their makeup done is mum, but please rest assured, you’re in good hands and deserve to be pampered too

A full in depth consultation is given, where we discuss your likes, dislikes, and makeup look you envision for the day, alongside your skin type, and current products you may be using. This helps me understand you a little better, while I build the products and look in my mind

Care and patience is taken with application, and I go light with products and depth, so there is plenty of room to add or make changes at the end

This gorgeous mum is a daily makeup wearer, and wanted something to make her feel herself, just elevated, that had great longevity, and I think she looked absolutely beautiful and radiant

Mums are more than welcome to book a mother of the bride trial, on their on, or alongside your bridal trial

I get asked a lot how much my ‘stay on service’ is, well my answer is I stay right up until you are in your dress, this is included in your bridal booking, not an ‘add on’

I do this as I want to make sure I’m there for any touch ups the bridal party may need, it’s my first time meeting you guys and using my products on you, so if you’ve got a bit shiny since 7am, I know where to add extra powder for your skin type, you’ve probably had your breakfast and a glass or two of fizz, I’m also there to top everyone’s lip up, whatever it is you may need

Most importantly I’m there on hand for the bride, giving you full confidence incase emotions get the best of you, if you have a last minute change or addition, or a bruise to cover that the dress didn’t, I’m there

Giving you reassurance and confidence I don’t just pack up and leave, and on to the next job, you are my only job that day, and I stay until everything is perfect, whether I’m doing touch ups, drying your flowers, or holding a baby! I’m there with you until you walk down that aisle
