Hyrox Berlin ☀️
We worked hard for that one!
It was HOT, so achieving our goal time started to slip out of reach towards the end of the race, however very chuffed with a finish in 14th in our AG and 33rd overall in those conditions!
Great venue.
Great team mate.
Great support crew.
Hyrox season 25/26 over and out 💪🏼

Team absolutely smashed it last weekend - so proud of everyone who competed! So much fun taking part with you all as well as the crew🔥
Especially proud of my Mum & Sian who showed us (and themselves) what they’re made of 👏🏻
Who’s in for the next event?

Post-race blues after HYROX are real! But we don’t talk about it enough 🧠🏁
You’ve trained for months, pushed through every session, and then suddenly… it’s over.
If you’re feeling off, you’re not alone. Common signs include:
• Lower mood or motivation
• Loss of structure after the race
• Emotional come-down after a big goal
• Difficulty transitioning back to ‘normal’ life
One of the biggest predictors? Poor life balance during peak training. When everything revolves around the race, the drop-off hits harder.
Here’s how to handle it better next time👇
1️⃣ Recovery first
Don’t rush back in. Focus on hydration and nutrition to ease the physical symptoms.
2️⃣ Keep some structure
Plan for what comes *after* race day. Having a training programme, even light training, for the weeks after a race can help ease the transition. Consider keeping your coach on even if just for a few weeks post race.
3️⃣ Protect your life balance
During peak training, keep doing things you enjoy. Don’t let HYROX take over your entire identity.
The goal isn’t just to perform well — it’s to feel good before, during, and after.
Want guidance that supports both performance *and* balance? DM me “HYROX” to learn more about my online coaching 📲
Part 2 - Top tips on preventing overuse/stress injuries 💪🏼
There are many other factors like nutrition, hormonal changes and underlying health conditions that are also going to contribute to these injuries, however if you take note of these 3 tips, you’ll significantly reduce the risk of developing overuse issues.
