Reply to Kathleen’s salon experience Facebook won’t let me post

She says Worst experience ever! Man doing my nails had headphones in the entire time, kept slapping my hand didn't cut my cuticles all of my nails are crooked and look almost flared. I felt like a burden and like I couldn't say anything. Paid 100$ for these and for my 14 year old son do have his nails clipped and cuticles cut. Atleast he had a good experience.... I left crying and completely frustrated. I don't do things for me much and this experience makes me not want to ever again.

My response is:
#1 slapping your hand is repeated physical assault
#2 him wearing headphones screams he has no interest whatsoever about your requirements and clearly doesn’t take the job seriously
#3 he is undoubtedly unqualified and unprofessionally minded to carry out a decent and effective job
#4 unfortunately these services which turn out horrendous and disappointing for the client, are in my experience are practiced under questionable circumstances
Do not ever go back the price is extortionate and you should know your nail tech well enough to feel comfortable and confident enough to say “hey I don’t like you repeatedly slapping me” and I’m not happy with this, please can you start again” a qualified nail tech will not take offence as their major concern is reputation, and if they’re anything like me will not let you leave unless THEY are satisfied and happy with the result.
