A little while ago I had a full head of highlights on Joyce. So you can see ended up putting a lot of foils in and using three different shades of blonde too. Was a long process however was very happy with the end result and Joyce was too.

The other week I had young Kaysie in the chair. She wanted a full head of highlights so I did a full head of woven foils. I started by sectioning her hair into six sections. Then mixed up my bleach and peroxide and also cutting up my foils too. I started with the three back sections first then after moved on to the top then finally the sides but checking each section as I went along. When I felt a section was developed enough I sprayed a mixture of water and anti-oxy conditioner to each section to stop it developing further. After all the foils had been removed we wash it with silver touch shampoo and conditioner to put a bit of toner on the highlights. Then to finish it off did a very nice straight blow dry. Kaysie was very happy with the end result and so was I too.

On Monday i had heather In the salon chair. Heather was after something more fresh and natural hair colour. to achieve this we started the process with a shampoo and conditioner wash. Following that I applied a pre pigment treatment which affected her highlights and lighter strands and then dried it into her hair. Next I used and mix of Wella colour touch 5/0 and 6/0 colour and left it to develop under the heat for approximately 15 to 20 minutes. After the development time I washed it off and finished with a sleek blow dry. The final outcome was quite satisfying and heather was delighted with her new look.

Joanna was back in the chair yesterday. She wanted a fresh colour. So I began by washing her hair then after I pre pigmented it which stained her highlights and the light bits in her hair and dried it into the hair then applied the colour which was a Wella 8/41. Left it under heat to develop for 15 to 20 minutes then washed it off and finished off with a straight blow dry. Was very pleased with the end result. Joanna loves it and I believe she’s gonna keep it for awhile

A couple of weeks ago I had a good friend of mine Col over to have her hair done. She wanted to go red. So to start I sectioned off her hair into four sections then applied a bleach bath to the hair to pre lighten her colour.

A bleach bath is made up of bleach peroxide shampoo and water.

To start I started with the mid lengths and ends then after 10 to 15 minutes then I applied to the roots and left it for another 10 to 15 minutes.
Then rinse it off however because her hair was quite dark I had to do a second bleach bath on the mid lengths and ends. After the the two bleach baths I applied the red colour and the product I was using was manic panic. Did a full head colour and left it to develop for about 30 to 40 minutes then washed it off. I also trimmed her ends and took a bit of the Length off too. To finish off did a straight blow dry and put some nice waves in her hair too.

Col was very happy with the end result and I’m sure she will be back soon.

On Wednesday I had the lovely Joanna in my chair at College. She wanted a chance so I took quite a bit of length off and gave her a one length shoulder cut and finished it off with a straight blow dry. Joanna was very happy with the end result and I was very pleased with it too.
