👁 Lash Growth Cycle Explained ✨
Your lashes grow in 3 natural phases:
1. ✨ Anagen (Growth) – New lashes grow from the follicle.
2. 🤎 Catagen (Transition) – Growth stops, lash prepares to shed.
3. ✨ Telogen (Resting) – Old lash sheds, new one grows in.

🤎 Each lash is at a different stage — this is why infills every 2–3 weeks keep your set looking full and flawless ✨

Perfect lashes ~ Easy morning 🧘🏼‍♀️

My client has been with me for 2+ years and has regular infills every 3 weeks, she has never had a break. Last week we done a removal and fresh set in the same sitting ~ swipe to see natural lashes after removal, zero damage 😍 Soooo………

Let’s talk aftercare🧴🫧

Quite commonly the blame will be put on us lash techs that “our lashes don’t last” this can be frustrating as, as much as its our job to do to the perfect set of lashes, it’s then up to clients to follow the correct aftercare to ensure the best retention for your lashes, most commonly keeping the lashes clean is number one that most avoid as they say their lashes fall out….this is generally because they will avoid washing them until their infill appointment is due then say, I don’t know what happened they just fell out 🤷🏼‍♀️

1. If you do not clean lashes regularly, natural oils, dead skin cells and make-up can build up around the base of your lashes extensions, this build-up can start to break down the lash glue, or get in between the extension and the natural lash, ultimately causing the extensions to fall out more quickly. wash your lashes after going swimming, sweating in the gym, even after crying! Tears, sweat and chlorine can damage and loosen the lashes.

Another common mistake is using micellar water for cleaning lashes, most of them contain glycerine which should be avoided along with any oily products!

2. ABSOLUTELY NO PICKING!!! you are more likely to pull out your own natural lashes. This can leave your lashes looking short and more sparser than before you had extensions.

3. DON’T use cotton buds, cottonwool pads or make up wipes anywhere near your eyes as the fibres can get caught in your lashes and become hard to remove and snag your lashes and pull them out.

These are JUST the top 3 for me. Girls please look after your lashes, your paying for a service, make sure you get your moneys worth 🫶🏻🫧🧴
