The MHfed Presents: Anthony Hutton on the Main Stage at HairCon

We’re proud to announce that Anthony Hutton will be representing the MHfed Elite Barbering Team and kicking off the Main Stage at the HairCon Show on Sunday 22nd June at the Manchester O2, starting at 11:00 AM.

With over 20 years in the hair industry, Anthony discovered a deep passion for barbering early in his career—drawn not only to the craft, but to the unique bonds built in the barber’s chair. Although he stepped away from the industry after winning Big Brother, he later returned to what he describes as his true calling: barbering and the powerful connections it fosters.

Anthony has long been fascinated by the one-to-one conversations that take place in the barber’s chair—realising it’s one of the few spaces where men often feel comfortable opening up. This inspired him to launch the Never Throw in the Towel Project: a mission focused on tackling male su***de and breaking the stigma around men’s mental health.

Through keynote speaking and a pop-up barbershop experience, Anthony combines his skills to create safe, authentic spaces where honest conversations can happen. His message is clear: build a brotherhood, break the stigma, and spread the belief that talking is a strength, not a weakness.

Meet Kilian
From Manchester City Centre to the world stage, Killian’s journey is pure barbering excellence. After sharpening his skills at Savills and managing Danny Robinson’s Uppermill shop, he took home HJ Men’s UK Barber of the Year 2017—which kick-started an epic partnership with Silverstone, where he still runs a pop-up barbershop at F1 and MotoGP events.

In 2020, he launched Amigos Traditional Barbers and was crowned WAHL British Barber of the Year the same year. Now a Gamma+ UK ambassador and proud owner of two shops, Killian is one to watch.

Desmond Murray is an Award Winning hairdresser who has constantly pushed to achieve new heights and as a result is now being recognised for his dedication, passion and creative work in both hairdressing and photography

Already housed securely in British Hairdressing Awards ‘Hall Of Fame’ in recognition of his award winning hair artistry, 2009 found Desmond accepting an additional award from the British Hairdressing Awards citing him Mens Hairdresser of the Year. This was followed by an international award from the A.I.P.P. which named Desmond Murrays Avant Garde Collection of the Year’. I recently had the pleasure of joining Emma Mackay, Senior Product Lead, City and Guilds on The Noble Barber Podcast, the number one podcast for the barbering industry.
