Half head of highlights for my client who had never coloured her hair before.. and how perfect did this turnout?!

Fine woven highlights whilst still packing out for this elegant blonde result, no major upkeep, and still keeping a touch of gold in that toner for a gentle blend with her natural ☀️

Shimmery blonde and a soft wave❄️
My client started with 2” of natural blonde root, a band of warmer blonde, and silver on the ends from years of box dying.
So we packed out a full head of highlights, and dark blonde in between the foils to subtly break through, matching her natural for a softer grow out, leaving her with this pretty shimmer finish.
We did a gentle bleach bath at the basin on her ends so get rid of the silver, and toner with a 10.13 for a clean blonde result✨

‼️SKIN TESTS‼️
Please read

As you know we always ask for you to have a skin test before you book in for a colour with us. And we often have these responses..
“Oh I don’t need one I’ve had loads of colours before”
“I’m sure it’s fine, I’m not allergic to anything”
“But why, I’ve never had a reaction before?”

Now even though we rarely see anyone react to our colours, on this one occasion we did. If you swipe to the second slide you will be able to see that the area was left red and sore. And that was just one small patch behind her ear.

Reactions can occur for a number of reasons, a different brand, a new formula, medication, pregnancy, illness, or even just a general allergy, but the list goes on.

We had no reason to suspect that our client would have reacted, she has had Highlights and toner multiple times before, but she did react. And this is why we won’t book you without a skin test prior to your appointment!

We went a little too long between bleach root touch ups, so we did a platinum card through all the bleach areas, leaving out our natural dark section. We toned the blonde with Montibello 9.1, and used Crazy Color VERMILLION RED and RUBY ROUGE underneath ❤️
