That warm tones reflect light making them apppear lighter?
Hence why the when compared to a cool tone of the same depth, the cool looks darker because of how it reacts to lights.

We all know if you’re gonna be in the Sun to wear a white T-shirt to reflect the light to stay cooler, and a black t-shirt absorbs light which makes you hotter.

Same theory applies to blondes:
Warm tones reflect light = Brightness
Cool tones absorb light = Darker
