Grey blending ✨

Full head super fine babylights mimicking where the hair is turning white and lifting out previous warmth. Then using a dialight as a lowlight to add dimension and mimic the natural depth and covering the previously tinted warmth.
Root smudged/Toned with 8T redken into 10T through the ends and around the hairline to enhance the area that is most white naturally!

B L O N D E ✨
Full head babylights, cut & blowdry.
A much needed first appointment back since having a baby girl.

Let’s talk pregnancy & postpartum hair… not only can it affect the condition and density of the hair but the colour to, I find this soo fascinating🤓

• Swipe for hormonal banding & before •

• During pregnancy hormone changes in the body can cause a melanin production increase. This can cause the hair to become half a shade to two shades darker than the natural depth of the hair.

• This can create a darker ‘band’ of colour because the hair grows in cycles. The hair grown during pregnancy can be darker and warmer than the natural hair before and again after should return to the natural pre pregnancy shade once the hormones have stabilised.

• This can affect anyone but is more noticeable with lighter natural shades,
It could cause some resistance to some colour services such as bleach as it can make it harder to lift.
