With the summer holidays coming to an end, and the new academic year nearly here, I thought I’d share my 5 top tips to help our children prepare for their new year group, class, school or college 🤍

Remember to take each day as it comes. Some days will be easier than others, and that’s completely okay. As new routines become familiar and anxieties begin to settle, hopefully things will start to feel a little easier. Most importantly, be kind, patient and remember that every child will adjust in their own time.

🌞 Summer Holiday Sessions Available! 🌞

Looking for a calming, nurturing activity for your children this summer?

I have limited availability for children's massage sessions throughout the school holidays, with flexible appointments between 10am and 4pm.

These sessions are designed to help children with SEND feel calm, regulated and supported in a safe, welcoming environment within your home. Whether your child benefits from deep pressure, struggles with anxiety, sensory differences or simply needs some time to relax, sessions are tailored to their individual needs.

Merlin has removed “difficulty with crowds” from Ride Access Pass eligibility, with immediate effect and no notice for guests with upcoming visits.

For many neurodivergent people, this is the key access need and its removal means they simply can’t attend.

This is deeply upsetting and leaves families feeling increasingly excluded from parts of society they’ve always enjoyed 🎢

I hope everyone is having a lovely half term so far, thankfully the weather has been good! 🍁⛅️

I’ve had three sessions today, and at the end of my last session, the young person I was working with handed me this note. Not only has it made my day (🥹!) - it shows me how far he has come since his first session, as he is highly anxious and has taken some time for him to trust me. Moments like this remind me why I do this job 🩷
