Lashing It Up

HELP! I had a car sorted for Ethan’s prom, which is on Mon 29th June at Wokefield Park to arrive for 7pm, however unfortunately the owner has had a bereavement in the family and will no longer be in the area on 29th. I’ve tried a few hire car companies but because there are only two of them it’s working our super expensive, around £400 each!!! Therefore I thought I’d ask my wonderful clients and friends if they know of anyone with a different/classic/super/special car that they might be able to go to prom in? I’m happy to pay or happy to donate to charity, cover fuel etc whatever, just not pay £400 for under an hours use if I can help it.

Most people who know me know I LOVE Disney and have been to Disneyland Paris, Disney Land and Disney World. Therefore when I get asked to do Disney nails I literally cannot refuse. Today’s creation was a blend of classic Minnie and Mickey with Avengers and I’m pretty pleased how they turned out, my clients do love to challenge me and I’ve never claimed to be the best artist in the world but I think I do ok!

I did it!! 26.2 miles smashed out, started at 11pm and finished just after 7am. It wasn’t easy, at around mile 10 I hit a mental wall and had to give myself a good talking to, at mile 18 I started to find it physically more demanding and walking past the Royal Brompton where my Brother died was so hard but I knew he was spurring me on and so on I went, the last mile or so was uphill and a killer but seeing the end was so good! Yesterday I seriously questioned my life choices but today was a lot easier and although extremely stiff I feel accomplished and so happy I did it. There is still time to donate, I’ll put the link in my bio, just in case 😘.

On Saturday, my lovely friend and I are walking 26.2 miles across London to raise funds to unite against cancer. Most of you will know that cancer has destroyed my family way too often and took my Dad when I was just 19, and subsequentlyy Auntie Maureen, cousin Stacey (at just 39) and her Dad, my Uncle Michael. It has also affected good friends who have luckily fought it off.
