☀️ Your skin and body are basically tiny houseplants with WiFi in this weather. They need water… and a protective roof.
Hydration and SPF are the summer power duo because:
💧 Water keeps your body functioning properly
Hot weather means more sweating, which means you lose fluids faster. Even mild dehydration can leave you with:
* headaches
* tiredness
* dry skin
* dizziness
* that “why am I suddenly a raisin?” feeling
Bonus beauty perk: hydrated skin looks plumper, glowier and less angry at the world.
🧴 SPF protects your skin from UV damage
Even when it’s cloudy in the UK, UV rays are still clocking in for work. Sun damage can cause:
* premature ageing
* pigmentation
* collagen breakdown
* sunburn
* increased skin cancer risk
Think of SPF as an invisible little security guard standing outside your collagen shouting: “Not today, UV goblins.” ☀️⚔️
Top tips:
* Aim for SPF 50 daily
* Reapply every 2 hours if outdoors
* Don’t forget ears, neck, chest and hands
* Increase water intake during hot weather
* Add electrolytes if you’re sweating lots

TOP TIPS BEFORE INJECTABLES 💉
A little prep goes a long way when it comes to healing, swelling & bruising! I’m prepping like a boss before Thursday
Here’s what I recommend before your appointment:
• Start taking Arnica a few days before treatment to help support healing & reduce bruising
• Drink plenty of water 💧 hydrated skin always responds better
• Avoid alcohol 24-48 hours before your appointment
• Avoid ibuprofen, aspirin & blood-thinning supplements (unless prescribed by your doctor)
• Try to come makeup free if possible
• Eat before your appointment, especially if you’re nervous
• Avoid intense exercise straight after treatment
• Plan your treatment around events because swelling & bruising can happen!
Remember… swelling is temporary, confidence is the final result!

So proud of us today 💪🏼🔥 We pushed ourselves, climbed, crawled, laughed through the chaos and somehow still made it out smiling! What a day and what a feeling crossing that finish line together 🧡
Mud in places I didn’t know existed, legs now operating like rusty shopping trolleys… but thoroughly worth it 😂
Here’s to a very well deserved rosé and booking next year’s madness already 🍷✨

Not all “warts” are what you think…
This is a seborrhoeic keratosis
A completely benign skin growth that often looks stuck-on, textured, and a little waxy.
And the satisfying part?
It sits on the surface of the skin, which means it can usually be gently removed without going deep.
What you’re seeing here is the lesion after removal —
a small build-up of keratin (dead skin cells) that’s been carefully lifted away.
🪄 Treatment is quick
🪄 Minimal downtime
🪄 Skin heals beautifully underneath
We always assess every lesion thoroughly to ensure it’s safe to treat
If you’ve got something similar that’s bothering you, pop me a message — I’m happy to advise

Proof that consistency is the real glow-up
trusted the process… stayed consistent with her skincare, committed to her facials, and look at that wedding-day glow
This isn’t just good lighting… this is months of skin prep, hydration, and dedication paying off
Your big day deserves more than last-minute panic treatments.
It deserves a plan… and skin that walks down the aisle before you do, have the best honeymoon beaut 😍
Bridal skin = consistency, not coincidence 👰♀️

This week is giving self-care energy
Even though the diary is still busy, I’m making wellbeing the priority.
• 10k steps a day
• Water, water, water
• Daily workouts
• Nourishing meals
• Early bedtimes
• And absolutely no mindless scrolling
Sometimes the best reset is simply stripping things back and looking after yourself.
Tonight’s client… is me
I’m treating myself to an SQT Nourish & Hydrate Facial — because even the therapist needs the treatment sometimes.
Think of it as doing your skincare routine 500× more powerful.
Deep nourishment, serious hydration and skin that drinks it up like a tall glass of water.
A little reminder that self-care isn’t a luxury… it’s maintenance.

NAD injections are having a real moment in the aesthetics and wellness world right now. Think of them as a cellular espresso shot ☕ but for your mitochondria instead of your mood.
First, what actually is it?
NAD stands for nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide. It’s a coenzyme naturally found in every single cell of your body. Your levels decline with age, stress, poor sleep, alcohol, and general life chaos.
Here’s what people report as benefits:
✨ Increased energy
NAD plays a key role in cellular energy production. When levels are topped up, many people notice:
• Less fatigue
• More mental and physical stamina
• That “clear head” feeling
🧠 Improved brain function
It’s involved in neurotransmitter support and brain cell repair. Reported benefits include:
• Better focus
• Improved clarity
• Reduced brain fog
🔥 Supports metabolism
Because it helps cells convert food into energy, some people feel:
• Improved metabolic efficiency
• Support with weight management
(Not a magic fat loss injection, but can support overall wellness plans.)
🧬 Anti-ageing support
NAD activates sirtuins, proteins linked to cellular repair and longevity. This is why it’s popular in biohacking and longevity circles.
💤 Recovery & detox support
Often used for:
• Post-alcohol recovery
• Burnout
• Chronic stress
• Supporting addiction recovery protocols
Now the realistic bit:
It’s not a miracle cure. Results vary. Some people feel a big difference, others more subtle shifts. It can cause:
• Nausea
• Flushing
• Chest tightness
• Headache. Available at Serene Aesthetics now.

God right now I don’t look like this
Here’s what I’m doing to reset my skin and body after a few days of carbs, cocktails and questionable sleep:
Hydrate like it’s my job
2–3 litres of water a day. Adding electrolytes to replenish what alcohol politely stole. Permanently attached to my Stanley!
Protein + greens first
Back to balanced plates! Blood sugar steady = skin steady.
Limit sugar (for now)
Not forever. Just giving my body a breather so inflammation can calm down.
Sweat it out
Light gym sessions and long walks. Nothing extreme. Just movement to get everything circulating again.
Early nights
Sleep is the ultimate skin treatment. Growth hormone does its thing when we’re actually horizontal and unconscious! Plus who doesn’t need an excuse to get to bed early?
Gentle skincare reset
Hydrating cleanser, barrier repair moisturiser, SPF. No aggressive actives for a few days. Let the skin settle.
Tomorrow I will treat my skin to a nourish and hydrate SQT treatment!
No punishment.
No “starting Monday.”
Just gently steering the ship back on course.
Trips are for living.
Resets are for balance.

Just got back from Berlin and I accidentally left my phone at the hotel.
Not on purpose.
Not to be deep.
Just… forgot it.
And guess what?
Nobody died.
Nothing fell apart.
Instead of documenting everything, I actually experienced it.
I looked up.
I listened properly.
I laughed without thinking about capturing the moment.
It felt calm. Spacious. Real.
We are so used to constant noise. Notifications. Scrolling. Checking.
But being offline reminded me that life feels different when you are fully in it.
So here’s your challenge:
One evening.
One day.
Leave your phone in another room.
Go for dinner without it.
Take a walk and just be there.
It might feel uncomfortable at first. That little twitch to check. That phantom buzz.
But push through it.
Be present.
Be where your feet are.
If the world survived me going offline in Berlin, it will survive you doing it too!
