Alchemy Dreadlocks

Colour correction of extensions from warm to ash. Then mix them up for muted colour pallet ready for an install of partial locks.

So much hair on these under-cut dreadlocks. They are so thick, yet soft and look supercool. They remind me of little flames of fire in this bright copper tone 🧡🔥

I don't often get to do such vivid and bright coloured extensions. How amazing are these 🥰 No shrinking violets in the studio today 😁 even better they range from 1-3cm in width so they are entirely unique to his natural dread sizes. Made by me as a custom order to include a more bumpy natural texture.

These new partial dreadlocks are starting to mature nicely. This time she asked for a another row to be added. The fluffy ends on the newest row will settle in like the first two rows given time and patience. New dreads take time to get to where you want them to be.

Another day and another wonderful new client. This guy has so many dreads and they are causing me dread envy 😆 so much hair 😍 What a nice time we had talking and learning more about each other. It's always a pleasure to meet new people and connect.

When you get asked to re-attach dreadlocks previously cut-off from your new clients noggin. I had to spend a couple of hours working on them to get them separated and looking their best. This is a great example of why initial sectioning is important for the longevity of your dreadlock journey and correct aftercare to ensure they stay strong.

Having shown me a reference photo from a well-known TV series 😁I made him some leather wraps whilst he waited so we could get the size and fit right.
