Today, installing the olfactory elements for Majo’s sculpture at the Royal College of Art in London.
Her work explores the smell of the sea of Lima, Peru, held inside a Corten steel cube.
From yesterday’s sunshine in Athens to today’s rainy London, a shift in weather, place, and atmosphere, but still working with scent, memory, and space.
A pleasure to be part of this olfactory collaboration.

Athens, thank you. 🇬🇷 What an incredible few days.
It was an honour to present A Time for Peace, A Time for Waltz, a multisensory work, at the 7th Experimental Scent Summit and to see the piece come to life.
My sincere thanks to the organisers, fellow perfumers, artists, performers, volunteers and everyone who attended. These events remind me how powerful scent can be as a medium for communication, reflection and human connection.
I leave Athens inspired, grateful and full of new ideas for future projects.
Until next time.
Yesterday, I presented A Time for Peace, A Time for Waltz at the 7th Experimental Scent Summit in Athens.
Originally created for Scent + Art Festival 2026 in Riga, the work combines scent, sound, text, moving image, and performance to explore a journey through conflict, reconstruction, life, and future.
My sincere thanks to George Agathocleous for organising and coordinating the dancers and choreography, and to Olga and Nasia of Danzza Dance Studio for bringing the performance to life through movement and dance.
Special thanks to Lisa Rommé for capturing the event on video, and to The Institute for Art and Olfaction , organisers of the 7th Experimental Scent Summit, for their support and for the opportunity to share this work with such an engaged audience.
Finally, thank you to everyone who attended and participated in the experience. Your presence, reflections, and conversations are an important part of the work itself.
I am delighted that A Time for Peace, A Time for Waltz continues to be exhibited as part of FRAGRANCE ARCHIVE International Contemporary Art and Fragrance Exhibition at Salas Tautas Nams in Sala, Jēkabpils Municipality, Latvia.
My sincere thanks to the curatorial team — Sandris Mūriņš, Marika Rozeberga, Anna Vilāne and Hardy Gru — and to everyone involved in bringing this remarkable continuation of the Scent + Art Festival 2026 to life.
It is an honour to be exhibiting alongside artists from around the world in an exhibition that explores scent as an artistic language, connecting memory, emotion, space and human experience.
Art that you can not only see, but also feel
Rehearsals for A Time for Peace, A Time for Waltz.
The choreography draws from the lyrics composed for the work, translating themes of conflict, reconstruction, life, and hope into movement through a contemporary interpretation of the waltz.
Special thanks to George Agathocleous for the choreography and his support throughout this meaningful collaboration.
