In all the moments of madness, I was extremely grateful to be able to take some time out and have some much needed reiki this morning.

Hayley fitted me in last minute and as always she worked her wonders. I fell into a deep sense of relaxation, my body felt like it was almost floating above me and I really needed that moment of inner peace. Highly recommend paying her a visit but please do leave room for my return visits as I plan to treat myself every 3 weeks to this amazing experience.

The walk home was also very welcome, yes I was the mad woman that took off her flip flops and danced in the burnt grass, probably not what it was intended on but that was for you Hayley 😜 and yes I did get some looks 👀 🤷🏽‍♀️ but who cares!

I was also really touched that I had these sunflowers waiting for my appointment, a hug to go with them and some precious stones to add to my lovely bedside collection. Thank you ☺️

Last time I went through chemo I didn’t cold cap, I was fortunate my hair did grow back but sadly for some that doesn’t always happen. People say it’s just hair, it’ll grow back, but they don’t realise the impact it has when you look in the mirror and see someone you don’t identify with staring back - only someone who has been through it will truly know that feeling.
