🚫 5 Common Mistakes After Botox (That Can Affect Your Results!)
Just had your anti-wrinkle treatment? Here’s what to avoid to give your Botox the best chance to settle properly.
❌ 1. Rubbing or massaging the treated area
Avoid touching the area for at least 24 hours, as this may increase the risk of the product spreading to unintended muscles.
❌ 2. Lying down straight after treatment
Stay upright for around 4 hours after your appointment.
❌ 3. Intense exercise on the same day
Skip the gym, running, or anything that raises your heart rate until the following day.
❌ 4. Drinking excessive alcohol
Alcohol can increase bruising, so it’s best to avoid it for 24 hours before and after treatment if possible.
❌ 5. Expecting instant results
Botox doesn’t work immediately! You’ll usually start noticing results within 3–5 days, with full results developing around 10–14 days.
✨ Top Tip: Follow your aftercare advice and attend your review appointment if one has been recommended.
