A big thank you to everyone that donated to my MacMillan Coffee Morning and cake sale! Very pleased to say we’ve raised a total of £596.10! And to anyone else that also hosted an event - well done! 💚

Good evening all! Quick update: I have already started taking bookings in the hope that I will be able to return to work mid-April, and I can’t wait to see you all again! Happy New Year! I hope everyone is doing well, all things considered! While most of us were already in tier 4, this evening’s announcement only adds to the uncertainty regarding when I will be able to return to work. Hopefully it won’t be too much longer, as I look forward to seeing you all again!

It is unfortunately too early for me to try and reschedule any appointments, but rest assured that as soon as there is talk of lockdown lifting and restrictions easing, I will be in contact with everyone that has missed their appointment!

Hello everyone!

I just wanted to take the opportunity to explain all of the special measures that I have been taking in response to Covid-19.

I work Wednesdays, Fridays, and every other Saturday! On Wednesdays I am the only member of staff present in the salon, so this is a great day for you to come in if you are still wary about being around too many people, or for those of you that are in the slightly higher-risk category. On Fridays and Saturdays there are two additional members of staff present, however all sections are distanced in accordance to government guidelines.

All members of staff wear face shields and masks at all times.
All customers should wear a mask and sanitise when entering the salon.
All surfaces are wiped down in between clients.

A lovely message I received from one of my clients the other day😊 So glad to be back to work - and messages like this make it even more worthwhile!

Hi all! Sharon here! I hope everyone is doing well and staying safe. I just wanted to pop on and clarify what the current situation is regarding appointments with me. I am hoping to return to work on July 4th - however, I will not be making appointments until the government provides confirmation that this will be possible, as this will save cancelling, postponing and rearranging appointments if this date it pushed back. Because of this, I will be contacting current clients when this confirmation is received, however I also welcome messages from new clients during this time too! I will be working extra days when I do go back to ensure I am able to fit everyone in! To offer some peace of mind, I thought I would note that in addition to being certified in the use of barbicide (sterilising), all members of the salon will be following advice issued by the hairdressing federation once this information becomes available, and I will share this information when possible.
