OMG what a night! Thank you Salon Awards for choosing me as ‘Stylist of the year’ and ‘Best Boutique Salon’ in Surrey ✌️🏻

Also a huge congratulations to Chloe who won ‘Hair extension Artist’ and to Polly who was a finalist in the most ginormous category I’ve ever seen ‘Colourist of the year’

I am so proud of everything we as a team have achieved at and this is the last awards we will ever do in my ‘Cally Borg Era’ because it won’t just be my surname ill be changing next year when Andy and I tie the knot!

There is huge change & development in my business direction (more on that soon!!)

But for now, I will be on cloud 9 feeling eternally grateful for ending the year and the last season as Cally Borg Hair like this 🙌🏻

Most of you who know me will understand why this particular award is so precious to me, I have been on a mission to SMASH THE STIGMA for years now and this really is the final box to tick ✔️

ProHair you have helped me fulfil my mission and for that, I will be forever grateful to you for being a huge part of this chapter in my home salon journey!

Seven years ago, I started my home salon journey, and I really had no idea what a lucrative business opportunity lay in front of me!

Not only has my salon allowed me the freedom & flexibility to create a work-life balance that works around my family commitments, but it’s also become part of my career identity. For a long time, my purpose was to ‘smash the stigma’ and be an advocate for my fellow home salon owners.

Since the pandemic, we have seen a huge rise in home salons and I believe in raising the standards and celebrating this unique yet super powerful business model. It doesn’t suit everyone, but it’s served me well and I am so grateful for all the opportunities & press my salon has had so far!
