Team Quarterly Wellbeing Day

Today, some of the team swapped the salon for the stunning surroundings of Sava Sauna & Ice Baths at Buckland Park for our quarterly team outing.

Not everyone could make it, but those who did enjoyed a morning of sauna sessions, ice baths, fresh air, laughter and plenty of time to simply slow down and reconnect, along with coffee and pastries.

As a team, we spend our days looking after others, creating experiences, lifting spirits and helping our clients feel their best. The energy we give to our clients is incredibly important, which is why taking time to recharge our own batteries and strengthen our team connections matters too.

Days like today remind us that behind every treatment, every appointment and every smile is a team of people who support one another, celebrate together and genuinely enjoy each other’s company.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us. Here’s to more moments of connection, wellbeing and team bonding. 🙏🏻

🏆 EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH 🏆

Well… after 15 years at TNBB, starting in a tiny room at the back of a hairdresser’s, I’ve finally won Employee of the Month! 😂❤️

Jokes aside, I was genuinely touched when Nicci and Sally surprised me with this award.

Running a business is often seen as exciting and glamorous, but behind the scenes it’s early mornings, late nights, sleepless nights, difficult decisions, financial risks, missed family moments and a constant determination to keep moving forward no matter what challenges come your way.

This latest expansion has been one of the biggest projects I’ve ever taken on. There were many days where I left home before my boys were awake and arrived back after they were asleep. It has demanded every ounce of energy, resilience and belief I had.

But standing in our beautiful new salon, seeing our team thrive and hearing the incredible feedback from our clients makes every sacrifice worthwhile.

Thank you to Nicci and Sally for the recognition, and thank you to our amazing team and wonderful clients for being part of this journey. None of this happens alone.

The lesson? Never give up on your dreams. The road isn’t always easy, but if you keep showing up, keep believing and keep pushing forward, incredible things can happen.

Today, our hearts are heavy.

We were deeply saddened to hear of the passing of one of our much-loved clients. For many years, she was part of The Nail & Body Boutique family, and her visits brought so much warmth, laughter and joy to our salon.

She was known for her beautiful purple nails, her infectious love of life, and the kindness she showed to everyone around her. One of the many memories that will stay with us forever is her arriving at appointments with a sausage roll in hand, determined to brighten Jess’ day. That was just the kind of person she was, thoughtful, caring and completely one of a kind.

For over a decade, she shared life’s ups and downs with our team, and we were privileged to be part of her journey. The salon won’t feel quite the same without her smile, her stories, and her familiar face walking through the door.

Our thoughts are with her family, friends and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her during this incredibly difficult time.

Thank you for the memories, the laughter, and the kindness you brought into our lives. You will never be forgotten. 💜
