WHAT DOES POST-OP RECOVERY LOOK LIKE AT 6 WEEKS? 🤍

This is a training case I worked on during my recent post-operative lymphatic drainage training.

At 6 weeks post-op, despite already having had regular lymphatic massage, you can still see that the body is very much in the recovery process.

Post-op recovery isn't simply about the incision healing. The tissues underneath are continuing to remodel, swelling can persist, and areas of firmness, tightness or fibrosis can develop.

This is why I believe post-op lymphatic care should be approached as a recovery journey, rather than a one-off massage.

🤍 My 8-Week Recovery Plan offers structured support throughout those important early weeks, with up to 11 sessions and regular reassessment along the way.

I also offer alternative treatment blocks for clients who don't require the full 8-week plan.

I don't currently offer individual post-op sessions because I want to be able to assess your recovery, monitor changes and adapt your treatment as your body heals, rather than simply provide one massage and send you on your way.

Every recovery is different — your treatment plan should be too. 🤍
