Well.. this is a status I didn’t predict typing! *also a long one, sorry!’

14 years ago I made a crazy decision to open a salon not knowing what the hell I was doing! Nervous no one would turn up I was worried I’d make myself look a fool but I can honestly say that over the past 14 years I have had some of the best times and made life long friends.
However, I’ve made the decision to close the salon. It hasn’t been an easy one to make but I’m ready for a new chapter.

I’m forever grateful to my team not only the ones I have now but everyone that has been a part of vanity’s journey over the years! It has been an absolute pleasure to manage you, train you and more importantly know you! Jade who’s been with me from the start.. thank you for being so loyal and just generally so hard working. Letitia for brightening up the salon and making me laugh practically everyday. Ella I know you’re going to make a cracking stylist in no time!
I know many people will be disappointed but we will still be open for a few weeks yet. The salons official closing date is Tuesday April 16th so you still do have some time to come and see us before then.

Please don’t bombard the girls for information just yet, let them process this too. We all know that they will of course find new salons to work in and will be letting everyone know in time where they are.

But again thank you so much for your custom and support over the years. My salon always felt like home (then quite literally became my home) and it always made me super proud when clients would say it’s like home from home because that’s exactly what I set out to achieve. So to every single customer that’s ever walked through the doors… thank you ❤️
