As we enter the end of the track season, which as been a quite, but successful one amongst the group.
Lewis Morris smashed all his PBs from 800m 1.58.8 to 3000m 8.26.1, which ranks him 10th in the UK for an under 18. He missed going sub 4.00 mins for the 1500m by .08 of a second, and ran in the English Schools and European trials.
Mark Gittins while running for England, won his 3000m International match in a 9.04.9 PB ranking him 3rd in the UK v45 .
We had another great night at Trafford, where Ben Rowlands won his heat in a 9.48.9 PB, with David Hinde just behind in 3rd in 9.51.9 PB. Both have bigger PBs inside them for next summer.
Paul Buckley who I've not long been coaching, and showing loads of promise since his return to running for many years away, won the Northern Vets 5000m V65 in 19.26.8 PB , ranking him 2nd for a v65 in the UK.

A really good night at the Capenhurst 5k, in the middle of a heatwave and solar eclipse.
Times 20 secs down with the heat but it was still a fantastic race.
