What a fantastic sport that is. Short Track Relay Speed ice skating. Friggin unbelievable.

Just to let all you lovely people know, if you are looking for a haircut with myself, I am totally booked up until the 18th March. I may get some cancellations but as of yet I have nothing available.

Something to celebrate.

Well folks this is what you get when you have councillors who don't care what is happening in their beautiful borough of Littleborough. This was up until recently a beautiful lodge, full of wildlife. Then along come a company with no moral regard for the environment, no planning and definitely no planning application for a change of use. Now storage containers will litter this area and slowly rust away.

Well salon all done and finished. Hard work but definitely worth it.

Well two days in and prepped the floor for its second coat of wood stain. Then it's another two days adding three coats of diamond glaze varnish over the top. Hopefully it will then last a good few years. Done this twice in the last two Christmas breaks and it didn't last. The reason I've realised is I only re stained the floor and never put a varnish on the top afterwards.
The hardest part and the bit that takes the longest is sanding it down with fine wet and dry sandpaper inbetween coats. Then you have to hoover it all and wipe with white spirit. But the finish will be worth it.

I just thought I better let you all know that if you haven't made an appointment for your haircut after the festive season, I am totally booked up until the last week of January 2026. February is getting pretty much booked up as well. So don't leave it unattended last minute as you will probably be disappointed.
